That's a lot of carrots harvest! I would suggest you can start composting if you haven't started as it will be good for your plants especially your vegetables. What's left to do? So much to do...never ending! LOL! Wow! Fresh catch fish delivery on your doorstep plus a good deal as well! I would love that! Good update!

Few tips about carrots, inconsistence of carrot size is cause from spacing. 1 plant = 1ft spacing. Bulk growth is cause by the saturation soil underneath. (aerate soil well. ave 6inch depth. Too much green growth is cause by too much Nitrogen in the soil , after planting change the fertilizer to something that has more phosphorus and less nitrogen eg (bat waste, animal waste. Dog waste is also good.) in a month of growth. Harvest is when you see the signs of flowers forming. Tip (do not leave any of your soil expose to full sunshine. Use the waste leaves of plants you harvest chop is down and cover the soil. It will release back the elements back to soil and will stop the weeds from growing.

After the seeds start coming up they need to be thinned out. By doing this it gives room for the carrots to grow bigger and not become deformed. Having a pile of green stems does not always mean getting a good batch ao carrots.
