I remember when you couldn’t hardly find folk metal. Now it seems to be everywhere, but Finntroll was one of the first that I found back in late 90s/ early 2000s

Sounds about right. :D I think the first time a band used the term "folk metal" it was Amorphis back in 1994, right around the same time when bands like Finntroll, Ensiferum, Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow and Turisas were all founded in Finland. The genre has really blown up since then \m/

Finntroll remains my favourite bands that I've seen live. I wanna say it was at The Opera House back around 2006; they put on one Hel of a show!

Great song, love me some Finntroll. Saw them years ago at a small venue in NC. They were touring with Ensiferum and Aether Realm was the opener.

The song lost me half way through.....I tuned out and started day dreaming unfortunately. I think it's due to a somewhat "sideshow" vibe without a real catchy structure. Dunno....like a clown show comic effect?
