Never keep CFAI mocks 2. days prior to your exam, it's a complete disaster ! Keep at least a week in hand to go through the areas of improvement via analyzing the outcome of mocks. So in the above video, if the exam is on 28, CFAI mocks should be done, analysed and well versed by 20th . Last 7 days is no new learning but sharpening the saw ! Surprised to see 15 yrs of teaching experience conveying this .

I see you point. We take mocks to for two aspects 1. Identifying weak areas and working on them 2. Building muscle memory and endurance. Writing mocks a couple of days before the exams (assuming you've taken a few mocks before), helps you synch yourself with exam pattern and timing.The idea is to lower exam anxiety.

cfai mocks are somewhat similar to the exam difficulty so they are not made to learn something rather they are made to test yourself and get a reality check of how much you are prepared for the exam so no harm in getting a sense of assurance in the last two days.

@@FintreeIndia Agreed on the sync aspect with exam pattern which is why I prefer these to be way before the exam day. The last 3 days should ideally be not learning anything new as it creates anxiety. Think about a super low score or time management problem 3 days prior to exam. It will significantly lower the confidence . Best to start the practice exam 3 weeks prior and then re-do that again or go through 2 days prior to sharpen .

@@marvelstudio7620 and if you do miserably bad then differ the exam is it ? As you mentioned, the reality check is for the candidate to focus on areas to improve which needs TIME .
