Fiona 🍎 is an unequivocally astounding human being down to the core.her pure honest heart that she shares in this interview is greatly appreciated.she never liked the fake Hollywood atmosphere, which is why she never liked those talkshows, she knew they were so scripted and controlled. It's such an amazing thing to witness her being her truself in her own comfortable environment telling intimate details about her past good or bad.its like bumping into her for the very first time and becoming best friends.love this girl because she's so giving, candid and true to self and her fans. Thanks for this excellent interview Fiona 🍎.

I hadn't listened to her songs in a while and have been drawn back once again. I find myself repeatedly blown the fuck away when I realize how gifted this woman is as an artist and performer. Her clever, emotionally charged lyrics are uniquely amplified by her soulful vocal delivery. Her piano playing and beats perfectly express the mood of the songs, going from the slow, dripping delicacy of "I Know" to the frenetic urgency of "Fast as You Can". Due to her special gifts and abilities I consider Fiona Apple to be a top 10 solo singer/musician/songwriter in all of music.

I really enjoyed this. Thankyou for sharing! I was about 16 when her album Tidal was released. I listened to it over and over and over. Actually I still listen to it. But “Never is a promise” is the one track that I really connected with. It literally got me through my 1st major heartbreak. As a teenager everything was so serious and blown out of proportions but I truly felt Fiona was the only one that seemed to understand me. Her music resonated within me. Back then my parents couldn’t afford to buy me much let alone tickets to a Fiona show. By the time I hit my adult years and could take myself to her shows I was so bummed to find out she no longer played my favorite song of hers. “Never is a Promise.” I still hold out hope that maybe, just maybe, I’ll still get lucky one day and she’ll sing it live again.
