I remember buying When The Pawn on CD the day it came out in the autumn of 1999 while I was living in NYC, just graduated high school in the midwest a few months earlier and was living this amazing life now, walking around Chelsea and Soho listening to those songs, rain and orange/red leaves everywhere. I love Tidal but WTP has so much nostalgia for me., every song is amazing. Love Ridden destroys me. This performance perfectly captures the atmosphere of this era of Fiona. This album and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill are two of the greatest albums to ever exist.
