The more medical journal literature on this that one can read, the better. Knowledge is power and I think Fiona is correct about exploring options. I've been neg. for years, but I'm caring for, and am very involved with the medical aspects of, a longtime friend's case. The virus unfortunately still carries stigma in some people's minds and I think it is important for everyone to try to understand that the virus can be picked up very easily, it doesn't discriminate, and we should try to not attach shame or guilt to it.

Have to apologize to you, Fiona, and all of your friends and followers. Talked with the brother of the person i referred to in my earlier message regarding PML and its hypothesized connection with HIV meds. He corrected what I recalled his brother speculating about in terms of his condition. Bottom line = the doctors were said to have no idea what caused his condition AND it DID NOT have anything to do with HIV. So again, my apologies for misleading you/anyone with what turned out to be hearsay, BS, speculation, etc.. My sincerest apologies if I scared the crap out of anyone!!! Will not being operating on hearsay again about anything, if I can help it. MEA CULPA!!! MY BAD!!!
