I wish they would do a sequel with Jackson Rippner actually turning out to be the good guy and the reason he had Lisa call to hotel to change the hotel room for that one guy, was because he was being blackmailed or something like that and he had to comply to their wishes or his family would die or something like that. And Jackson gets in serious trouble in the sequel and has to escape from the hospital after he had been shot by Lisa and her father, because the ones who blackmailed him goes to the hospital and tries to kill him. And the only one who can help Jackson get out of this mess, is Lisa.

I read an article where they said the song is about healing from trauma, i think its symbolized by the dark road he's on, and him looking back is him on the watch as he tries to move forward in life, worried what happened in the past, the headlights chasing him is an event similar to what hurt him, thus why he's getting more and more worried; he's trying to advoid it But once the lights catch up and pass him he's surprised because it wasn't what he thought, but also he realized he's stronger than he use to be too. It happened and this time he's okay. So he leaves the car just as the dawn is coming to show that he's ready to try and move forward on his own now on the road to healing, and the car (a crutch or comfort) isn't something he needs like he use to. Like a coping mechanism
