Good record of the location and its current state. The bush & veg (the steep bit showed a less browsed part well) plus the locations make these interesting to a wider interest audience. Seems a significant red influence in most of the deer.

great video guys , me and my mate were in there in 1988 and the place had been shot out by the choppers, nice easy walk from the hut to lake sutherland, great to see that the animal numbers have returned to the area

With those numbers and the state of the bush/flats, whatever program is in place there isn't keeping numbers at a level the bush & tops are healthy. The bush was well eaten out a couple of blocks away in 1992, so would be interesting to know it's current condition after seeing this video.
