Wow thanks for really explaining this very well. Belive it or not, i recently went back to my first hi-Res IEM BGVP DMG and found that i liked how it sounded natural and smooth (Terrible boomy bass though). It's because it's tubeless. This started me down the rabbit hole of this kind of design which a few good companies are now doing. I have thousands worth of IEMs and this tube-less sound sig sounds so natural and engaging to me as a music lover and DJ. Going this route from today.

I wonder is the reason u18s flopped and wasn't tuned good is because the good techs at 64 audio went to fir 🤔
