The backdraft is fairly realistic for being a video game. However, it's not always a giant fireball. A backdraft can be an explosion that can blow out windows and doors, but also the blast can introduce too much oxygen and extinguish fires. Backdrafts are dangerous and unpredictable because of that.

To be fair video games are video games real life is real life. it’s not going to be perfect but it is as realistic as can be, also not all the devs are firefighters so, they don’t know every single thing about fire.

@@swiftxxw0lf I totally understand that but it is called a simulator. Also good development teams reach out to experts when designing a game. They don't just wing it. But this game is amazing regardless but has a ton of potential and missed features that could have been implemented. To this day, the game plays just the same as it did day one. I guess the real fun comes from multiplayer but they've done nothing with single player. Not even some free mode where you respond to emergencies from a station and a different assortment of emergencies.

As a former Volunteer Firefighter standpoint, this game is very accurate to real-life perspective. Except the backdraft instantly explodes when you open the door, not like five seconds after you open the door.

The physics from the water and fire look really nice! I’ll probably get this game for myself when it releases!

It's actually very accurate. When they made this game they definitely planned it out. Probably talked to a lot of actual fire fighters as well as fire school instructors. Only thing is smoke will push anywhere that flashlight can either help or not do anything at all depends on the situation. Every fire I've been in I had to crawl around and all it did was help me see the floor.

Always do ventilation before entering the building, because putting out a fire causes smoke for any civilians inside. Also, after you ventilate go in and stick to the right side of the wall as you do “primary search” to look for victims. After ventilation, and primary search, you can then begin attacking the fire.

I'm sorry but where have you heard to always ventilate before entering? Been a firefighter for 5 years and have never once heard that. The attack line coordinates with command and the team doing ventilation.

@@DigitalHDx Took a lesson with my local FD, maybe some places do it differently.

@@sigsauer_firearms Yes there are many ways to do it but how I've been taught is if you ventilate before having a line in place, you are introducing more oxygen to the fire which could lead it to spread faster. Especially if it's windy outside. Then if there are victims inside, the fire spreads too fast for you to control and your victims burn.

Im So pumped this is coming to PS4 The only thing i seen that could be consider incorrect to do is opening the windows while the fire is still active.. that could cause the fire to spread and grow rapidly because your giving that flame oxygen to grow.. cool video bud 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Das Spiel sieht wirklich gut aus, aber ein paar Kleinigkeiten stören: 1. Das exkate parken müssen, wenn man nicht genau in der Parkbucht am Brand steht, gehts nicht weiter^^ 2. Die Fahrzeugmodelle vom Verkehr wirken etwas komisch bzw. platisch und es keine Fahrer :D 3. Manche grafische Effekte oder Texturen sind gerade scharf, es handelt sich zwar um die Unreal Engine, aber diese wurde wohl nicht genau inplemtiert bzw. ist es nicht die neueste Version der Engine. 4. Blinken die Lichter bei manchen Feuerwehrwagen syncron, zum die ganze linke Seite und die ganze rechte Seite, sieht ebenfalls komisch aus und ist sicher nicht realistisch. 5. Man fährt nicht zurück zur Wache. 6. Es rücken aus meiner Sicht, teilweise zu wenig Fahrzeuge zu dem Brand aus. 7. Das HUD wirkt nicht final, die Schrift ist zu groß und überlagern sich Informationen, vor allem rechts über der Minimap, während der Fahrt. Das sind aber alles Dinge, die man ja patchen kann, aber diese Kleinigkeiten finde ich persönlich sehr nervig. Ich überlege aber trotzdem mir das Spiel nächste Woche, wenn es erscheint, zu kaufen.

I have a question for anyone who know the answer. Are you able to have the ai fight the fire using the fire extinguisher? If they can I haven't figured it out and need to know.

@@TheTimoprimo: You're right, but more kinda almost are though since some of those games happen to be Military Ones like Call of Duty which would be the ground crew ones while they're also similar to Pilot ones too for an Airport if not the Military in which a lot of former Police Officers and FireFighters are actually now serving in while a lot of Retired Cops and Military are now in the Fire Service while there are also North Americans who actually served in all three of them, some may have done two or three years in the Military then did six or seven years in the NYPD prior to the FDNY as a second career change after the Military as a Permanent 3rd Career after quitting both the Military and Police Department...So it's pretty Interesting when you think about it while the PAPD such as Port Authority Police Department of New York and New Jersey along with the California LAPD in which where some retired Port Authority Officers are now serving in are actually both at the same time with Bunker Turnout Gear that says Port Authority Police on their Helmets which LAFD except for LAPD are actually Equipt with there TheTimoprimo.!!! Right Awesome.

The more and more I watch these game play videos. The more this seems like an arcade rather then a "simulator" i don't know how many times I cringed watching what the game is trying to pass as accurate information. Feels like it was made by some one who watched backdraft once or twice...

I know, it's always interesting to watch videos with this genre to see what they are doing acurate and what they're doing wrong. I used to be in law enforcement and will watch videos like this from time to time and alot of the time I will finish the video and pretty much say "well that guy just committed entrapment like 4 different times." I know at the end of the day it's a game and alot of people don't know everything into this the line of work, but it's interesting watching it though. Haha! Question for you, what are some massive myths you hear about in firefighting that just make you cringe?
