Hey everyone! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while and I finally got around to it. I finally added voice evacuation to my basement fire alarm system. I’m definitely going to utilize the voice system a lot in the future, and I decided that I’d start off strong by setting up a system consisting entirely of EST devices. I used five different custom messages, and most were created from raw EST audio files (yes I have them). The “Boston tone” (Message 4, not really a message though) was a full recreation though. Enjoy the video, and get ready for some more cool systems in the future!
Devices:
Fire-Lite MS-9200UDLS Addressable FACP
1M001 - ADT ADT-278 (EST SIGA-278)
1M002 - Fire-Lite CRF-300 (Speaker Ckt. Relay)
1M003 - EST/Edwards 278B-1120
1D001 - Fire-Lite SD355R
1D002 - Notifier FSP-851
EST Genesis G4RF-S7VM Speaker Strobe (x2)
EST Genesis G4HFWF-S7VMC High Fidelity Speaker Strobe
Here is the audio board I’m using: a.co/d/fXj2yOW
