Fire Alarm Test

If this building looks familiar, it has a near identical layout to the building inspected in inspection #102. I have also already been to this building once before in inspection #43. The panel is yet another Harrington HS-3400 and the alarms are first gen wheelock AS with the sideways strobe.

That Advance was doing “fart coding”. One loud blast followed by a short pop.

Because it's set to Code 3. All system sensor Spectralert devices are Automatically set to code 3. If they changed it to continuous, it would sync with the Wheelock Devices.

Funny thing i just found 2 wheelock AS in a fire dept dumpster recently. And a while back at different times at the same place i found some wheelock ET1010 speakers,2 stripped fire panels and a couple detectors its one of my favorite dumpsters (besides one that i find computers at all the time)

No since System sensor devices are by default set to code 3. Its causing these to not sync properly. If the panel is capable of Wheelock Sync, Then It would do Code 3. So this is a sync issue

I believe slow march time coding If it were up to me I would just change the coding to continuous so that the wheelock AS devices would sound in continuous and the system sensor devices would sound in code 3.
