Some of the buildings at my college had those pull station ADA-extension adapters. When they replaced the original Standard Electric Time pull stations with Faraday F1GT Chevrons and Fire-Lite/Notifier BG-12s. The Student Union still has some left, but the other buildings have since upgraded to new devices installed in different locations.

It’s not great, but at least the building has a lot better protection now. At least they didn’t retrofit them on top of strobe or light plates.

I saw the thumbnail and I was like, "Oh no, I hope it wasn't the 2903-9101+2901-9806s that got taken out!". (The same video where there's the mix of '9806s and 4051s with one of the 4050 indicators looking like it wasn't getting power, like it was disconnected or a severe NAC wiring issue) The same video where you talked about the FACP needing to be reprogrammed by Simplex.

If only they could use the trim rings for the L-series then they'll look much better, but it doesn't improve their performance

They didn't do a very good job at retrofitting this system. They should've mounted these on L-Series Backboxes.

Even my broke community college somehow did a L- series retrofit properly. Yeah it took years but they at least got the proper adapter plate for the larger profile boxes.

@@LoneStarFireAlarmsTX No. I’ve seen Videos of 4050-80 Installing Alarms. I think HE could do better. Not some dummy who doesn’t know how to retro fit.
