Yes 🙌🏽 Isanian, BE FIRST’s 🎼🇯🇵💨🎶 new “Mainstream “ MV. They are Japanese and are Jpop. It reminds me of a dystopian world similar to “Alice in Borderland” also everything is the same color and it shows extreme uniformity. I believe that is the pressure of being the same, not being to creative or different which in Japanese culture I believe isn’t done. Please react to more of their MV’s. Thanks for the reaction!💥 This song was produced at the suggestion of BE:FIRST. Hip-hop, especially trap, is not well known in Japan. SOTA, a member of the group, is a world-title winning dancer and choreographer of this song. （He has long blonde hair.) He proposed the idea of creating a trap hip-hop production, which is not popular in Japan. The group's goal is to perform internationally, but SOTA first wanted to introduce the Japanese to the music he loves and get his fans to like hip-hop as well. The production by the members is reflected not only in the songs but also in the music videos.

Hello, thanks for the reaction! They are actually hip hop based j pop, so if you see k pop style in them, it's because current k pop style actually came from Y2K j pop when hip-hop r&b and dace focused groups were more mainstream in Japan. Since the j pop is so diverse and you don't get to hear all genres because of their strict copyright laws, many people only get to know rock/vocaloid anime music but these hip hop or EDM based dance focused artists actually never died out in Japan, for example artists under LDH labels have been always in this style. But now BEFIRST came into play, I have a feeling that they will make hip-hop as the mainstream music in Japan again.😊 Anyway thanks for your reaction and if you can, please please react to the dance practice video 🙏 I actually prefer it than the MV and performance video because we can appreciate their dance more without too much camera works and transitions.

Thank you for reacting to these two videos! They told SKY-HI the direction of the music they wanted him to make in their 4th single. It is a fusion of American hip hop they listened to as children and J-pop today. Then "Mainstream" was created based on a track proposed by member Sota.
