Kenny Rogers! A one-of-a-kind firefighter .... entirely devoted to his craft, Kenny performed at the highest levels of competence and caring. If Bostonians had to choose one player from National Hockey League history to start a new league from scratch, they would (and properly) choose Bobby Orr. Well, if I had to choose one fireman from the Boston Fire Department’s history to start a new fire department from scratch, I’d choose Kenny Rogers. It was an honor and privilege to work with him.

Hey Kenny did you ever hear the old saying there’s no I in team? I guess not, then again there’s also a old saying about boats it goes like this what’s the best part about owning a boat? Answer is when you buy it, but the next best time is when you sell it. Well when you transferred to the boat the men down there had the reverse feelings, they said the worst part was when you got there, the best part was when you left.
