Amazing video! Thank you! Brought tears to my eyes because it was my childhood home for 8 years. We roasted marshmallows in the fireplace and rode our big wheels in circles around the building. 😢

Thank you for this amazing footage. So sad. Fire intentionally set or a person seeking shelter made a fire for warmth that got out of hand. There was a fire set likely by hikers in one of the grand old log cabins at Hensley Settlement at the Cumberland Gap area and it burned it down. Was a grand old home made of Chestnut tree logs-would have been amazing to see.

Awesome footage! So sad to see this. Probably arson. I lived in the whole bottom section of that house from 1968-1976. I remember roasting marshmallows in that chimney/fireplace in the video. Also ice skated on the pond in front of it.
