Fire emblem Engage OST Goddess in Shadow (battle) Extended

This fight was hell. You’re just getting more and more reinforcements against you. It becomes a mad rush to put the mad Goddess down. This was easily the hardest fight in the game.

Yeah, I had to reload my savegame and take another strategy as soon as I understood that reinforcements were unlimited. This is the only main chapter map I had to redo or reload. I created a choke point and my high avoidance characters managed to hold the line with a couple of healers in the back, while my Kagetsu killed everyone inside (even if it took a lot of turns). I was one turn away of being overwhelmed by backup units before forming the initial choke point though, so it was a close one. The boss herself was quite easy with an avoid tank though.

I guess it goes for the higher difficulties. But still, this fight is tough even on normal difficulty. But the unlimited reinforcements combined with them also not giving extra experience makes it really a waste to kill them and more so stall them out. Ike and anyone with high defense and resistance can clutch in this case. when he needs to.

This was hard for you? This wasn't even the first chapter to have infinite reinforcements. 🙄 *cough* Dark *cough* Veyle Now *THAT* boss fight was hard. Mainly because there weren't any xxx amount of warp staves, let alone "safe-spaces" you could retreat/hide to that could potentially slow down enemies from advancing towards your army.

Well they're basically the same. Lumera and Rhea. They were powerful dragon leaders and (in silver snow for rhea) basically a mother figure out the main character

Sorry mommy I have to do this you can punish me later. I had a difficult time fighting queen lumera. But honestly to me the true final fight just because it was rough. But lotsa fun!

This theme goes Just like my general anna's silver greataxe to her face as well as the bond beams from alear and veyle and ivys coutnerattacks (absolutly no clue what she had against ivy it was pointless anyway since she had an extra hp bar to begin whit), past alear was harder then her imo he def hit waaaaay harder too since i had to redo it as he one shotted my alear absolutly no clue how either but ivy lived on 1hp , guesse ivy is tankier then alear now.

my Ivy can literally tank an arrow in hard difficulty with Sigurd as her emblem partner.

If your Alear approaches they switch to Falchion. Thats why he/she one shots. Lol

Doesn't really work though, corrupted wyrms don't take effective damage from wyrm slayers and lumera only does on normal mode, she takes reduced damage on hard and outright resists effective damage on maddening, though I do have to question why you would hate a game enough to speedrun it and refund it, I mean it can be funny in some cases like garten of banban but this game is nowhere near bad enough to deserve that

@@pandabanaan9208 I played on Hard, and she took less effective damage, but not completely nullified. I was always going to get and beat this game on my own, but there was nothing afterwards that made me want to do another playthrough. This is nothing but a glorified Heroes port with a Genshin Impact crossover, which is NOT what Fire Emblem is supposed to be.

@@AkameGaKillfan777 wtf do you mean heroes part are you mental or something, heroes has devolved into a pay to win power creep gacha while engage has arguably some of the best gameplay in the series, besides like no fire emblem game has much to do after beating it, I guess the artstyle does look a lot like genshin but I really don't care about genshin so I don't mind as much, and what is fire emblem supposed to be, a fantasy war story about beating an evil dragon, people love thracia and the tellius games yet they very much diverge from the standard fire emblem formula, like you're gonna refund a game just because you don't like the artstyle meanwhile sonic and pokemon fans have to hope their next game isn't rushed or more of the same, if you can get past the bad story(wich to be honest at this point you should be used to) engage is a pretty solid entry in the series and even then the story isn't even fates levels of bad

The skill system is ripped out of Heroes, which took a THIRTY MINUTE UPDATE to semi-fix, the gacha ring system is tedious, everyone has reduced movement, the class system is worse than Awakening, and I haven't seen anyone critique the map design to explain WHY it's good. To me it felt barely any different from past games since Alear can solo the game easily once their stats are high enough, and have a couple of skills to negate things like chain attacks and freeze. I shouldn't, and don't have to get past 80%+ of a game's content to enjoy it, and I know you're bullshitting about the writing of past FEs. Even Fates which I played first gets criticized accurately 95% of the time, and unlike Engage, it has decent art direction and character design, okay voice acting, excellent music, better HUB, better DLC, and other replay content, and that's without mentioning the mountains of replay value 3H has because of New Game+. Even Echoes has a good amount of post-game content, and Awakening at the very least lets you recruit past Avatars and other characters. Engage though? NOTHING. But according to you, my issues are good aspects of Engage that either downplay past games to make it look not as awful in comparison and should be avoided, or are just as bad? Well that's great! You've convinced me to never play anything pre-Awakening at all! Well done! But all of that on its own didn't quite convince me though. However I did change my mind when you called me mental. It was only thanks to that which allowed me to see the light and truly ascend to the heavens. Keep up the good work!
