Well, Henry delights in blood, but he generally doesn't kill other human unless they've done him some sort of wrong or perceived wrong (like killing his animal friend) or are fighting him in battle. He talks about the hypothetical of death or killing others in other circumstances, but he doesn't really act on it. In contrast, Peri is more of the "serial killer of innocents" model. They are both psychotic in their own ways, but Peri has a very different sort of target than Henry does.

Charlotte, Nyx, Mozu, Beruka are all worse, personality-wise. Charlotte's reason for gold-digging doesn't convince me at all, especially because there are better ways to provide for family. Nyx is Nowi but angsty about her child-like appearances. Mozu's pessimism is grating and a worse version of Donnel, and Beruka is literally a blank paper (though her support with Arthur was very nice). As for Peri, she wasn't evil, but very traumatized. Remember, Xander did nothing to rein her in either. Laslow was the only one who took time to understand her.

Peri tends to have (regarding stat growths) low HP, high STR, minimal magic, lowish skill, high speed, low defenses, and high resistance. Soleil herself (by default) tends to have low HP, high STR, nonexistent magic, lowish skill, somewhat lowish speed, mediocre defenses, and high resistance. Kids's real growths are averaged from their mother and their own default, so Peri largely aligns with Soleil's stat spread, emphasizing most of the same stats. Peri!Soleil sitll has low HP, high STR, minimal magic, and lowish skill. Peri's SPD actually helps Soleil out a bit, making her speed moderate rather than somewhat lowish. Peri slightly drops Soleil's defenses (not by much) but keeps her resistance strong. So yes, the stats are good….. it basically preserves all of Soleil's inherent stats; it keeps her good at what she was designed to be good at, without messing her up with something crazy. Cavalier access also means a free +3 damage for Soleil if she gets Elbow Room from Peri and is standing on open terrain, which is most of the time.
