She doesn't appear that often at 690+, I find. Same goes for most cavaliers. I come up against mostly armors and high BST infantry like Ike.

Wander she comes back at around 700-720 with high merges. My guess is that her bst is low enough that she doesn't appear vs infantry/armor team until whale territory where her merged bst keeps her in matchmaking. She probably disappears again when you go higher but I have no way of knowing for sure.

I was Arenaing at 696 with 3 armors and a mage and I kept running into this schmuck with a Brave!Lyn that had Firesweep and Cancel Affinity. They slapped Reposition on her with a reinhardt so they both kept leap frogging each other.

Very sad indeed. Reprisal is a pretty bad special attack on any unit, but perhaps worst on Kagero due to her low HP. I find that, in combination with Fury 3, Iceberg works well on her - and of course there's Glimmer, for when you need an infantry unit truly 100% dead in one shot (more useful in PvE). Lots of folks run LnD/Desperation on Kagero, which is fine I guess, if she's +spd, but I personally find her to be a great enemy phase unit with Fury, Vantage and the +1 res or distant defence seal.

for the amazing Chicken vs. Xander, where you said you fucked up then used Kage draw back to pull M!Marth away, you could have used the Draw Back to pull Ninnian to the right. Ninian would be able to most likely ORKO Xander, bc low Res + TA + if Xander gets doubled by 30 spd, then definitely 32 will work

You did the math wrong, even if you conclusion is (mostly right). Ninian, with her 33 speed, would have doubled the 27 speed Xander (Fae didn't double, she used QR). But nothing guarantees that a 39 atk Ninian would seal the deal, and if she doesn't, Kagero is fucked in your scenario.

Noobie Sensei That Xander had 17 res and TA and was on a defense tile, so got a 1.3* bonus to res. Ninian had 37 attack. (37*1.4) - (17*1.3) = 51 - 22 = 29 damage per attack. Since she doubles, Ninian attacking twice for 58 total would've definitely sealed the deal, not to mention she'd have procced moonbow during the fight too.

You're right that Steady Breath is insane, but not just dragons it's a busted skill for any enemy-phase unit. BK with Steady Breath+Wrath and QP can oneshot an Azura after taking the first hit, for example.

moonbow doesnt add damage equal to 0.3x respective defense on opponent as many people think, it resolves combat as if def/res were 30% lower, so if you dont have enough attack to deal any damage with 30% lower def/res, it still deals 0 damage

Fae was always good. Distant counter weapon, rein counter, can tank green mages that aren't Julia, archers, and with steady breath is even better

tumut Fae doesn't come with a distant counter wep. It's inherited from Now or Tiki. Everyone doubles her. Shes only a green counter and only tanks well if you keep renewel so you can get it back. She's originally C or B tier with no inherits. Marbels Fae has multiple 5*s (around 4-5) inherited into her.

If you see something you don't want to fight in the advance slot, you can click 'give up'. It spends your dueling sword, but you don't break your streak. So you can hunt for something you want to fight/with the score you need as long as you have the crests for it.
