Fates is definitely my favorite fire emblem game. Go ahead kill me, but I just love the characters and vibes I get from the game.

Same. I mean, Three Houses is my favorite now, but Fates: Conquest will always hold a very special place in my heart as the very first Fire Emblem game I ever played. I know that the game isn't very liked and it certainly has its fair share of poor writing, but I just can't help but love it despite all of it. A cover of Hitori Omou is actually what made me buy the game in the first place, and I was instantly enamoured.

+GreenClosed You might want to take a closer look at both cutscenes in hd before making that judgment. It's heavily implied that Azura was using magic just pay close attention to her necklace and now that the cutscene is in hd you'll see that in the Nohr version Azura's face is covered in the end when we switch to Garon's view while in the Hoshido version you can clearly see it's her. Besides, no one ever mentions the mysterious dancer having blue hair at all so the only logical explanation is that what we the player saw is not what the actual characters saw I mean Azura is disguised with magic in the Hoshido version yet we still got to see its her.

+SunsetValkyrie Actually it's implied that Azura didn't get disguised in the Hoshido version and it's pretty obvious why in the ensuing scene. Garon just didn't know what his adopted daughter looked like after all these years somehow.

+Rikarikun But if it's true that she wasn't disguised why didn't Garon recognize her after he saw the water bending? I mean he was married to Azura's mom and it was stated that Azura's mom loved to sing, and he knows Azura was captured by the Hoshidans, Iago also got a good look at her so he should have put two and two together immediately. Heck he still remembers who Azura was and it's stated in revelation that Azura's mom's death is related to King Garon's change. I mean it's stated that Garon changed after Azura's mom died. Though, let's just say he simply couldn't recognize her in the Hoshido route. In this case we must make the assumption that blue hair is NOT a unique hair color in the slightest since he didn't even think of the possibility of the girl he saw being related to his dead wife. The only real indicator I see a lot of people saying is that everyone should have recognized her in the Nohr route due to the blue hair but the problem with that is that blue hair is treated like an everyday occurrence in this universe. Azura was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM at one time in the Nohr route yet he didn't bat an eyelash. He was actually SURPRISED to find out that the girl next to the avatar was Azura. I haven't seen blue hair being treated as special NOT ONCE during any of the three paths. Hell we have Peri and Flora who have natural blue hair that's pretty close to Azura's and a NPC, Layla, has the same hair color as Camilla so why do people expect anyone to recognize Azura just by her hair color?

+RidleyOh that's a possibility! I've been playing the Japanese version for almost a year now and this version definitely grew more on me than the English one does. And every Japanese friend of mine told me they think the Japanese version sounds better. I feel like it takes time for a person to fully understand and appreciate a song (they have to fully understand the language and read in that language often). There are too many things that hardly can be explained or translated. It is easy to like the rhythm and the beat, but to connect with the lyrics and understand the meanings/feel the emotions - that's on another level. And that's probably why the English version gains much more popularity among Western players - they can understand everything hidden in the music now. Hahaha tbh the English version also got stuck in my head. The first few weeks of the western release I can only sing the English version in my head.......
