Ikes dialogue here is my favorite of the series. He wins the trash talker award of the century. He's like "yeah, I know you're a god, but I've never lost, despite the odds, and you aren't any different than all the others who knelt at my feet. time to die!" most epic trash talk of all time.

I know right? And the cherry on top is basically most badass line one could ever give to someone who is a literal god of the world. "Make your peace with whatever the gods worship. Your end is nigh." Like...my god. Some heroes who fight literal god either denounce their status as a god or say they will overcome somehow. Not Ike. He literal tells Ashera that for hurting so many people and being so stubborn, Ashera is going to die and that if a god has gods themselves, they should make peace with them because he is going to make sure Ashera's life, a goddess, ends, so Ashera should pray that whatever afterlife the gods have, if any, is a merciful one.

Ike is kinda wrong in this part tho, dude is literally boosted up by another god. Without that he would be fodder to her.

@@kennethlatorre5269 Yeah, no. You're kind of missing the point. Fodder implies that Ashera could deal with Ike easily, and the only advantage was that another goddess empowered Ike's final strike. But that simply isn't the case. You give a mystical weapon empowered by another goddess to a regular fighter, and the only battle you would get in the next 2 seconds is the regular fighter being disintegrated with the blessed sword the only thing remaining. The very fact that Ike's group was able to defend and clash against Dheginsea's attacks and attack him with such force to bring him down, was a credit to Ike and his group's incredible strength. And the fact that Ike did the same to Ashera, despite the overwhelming power Ashera wielded, Ike was able to corner and weaken Ashera enough for Yune to give Ike the final blessing that allowed Ike not to corner Ashera, which Ike was already doing, but to outright KILL ashera, which is simply something mortal weapons could not do, ALSO shows how incredibly strong Ike had gotten at that point. Yune may have givin Ike the means to avoid becoming a statue and kill the divine, but the actual strength and skill necessary to actual do so was all Ike and his team's strength. To give context, during that period, or any period of time in Tellius, the idea that any group of warriors could withstand and overwhelm Dheginsea or Ashera even with their weapons blessed by Yune was completely unthinkable, the gap of power was simply too great. By the time Zelgius had trained Ike to surpass him and cut him down, Ike had become possibly the strongest beorc-human to ever live in Tellius.

I miss the old Fire Emblem habit of each character saying a line in the final chapter, like: Ike: "This is it, I want none of you to die on me, today we save our world" Elincia: "For the people of Crimea to whom I serve, no, for everyone" Nephenee: "...I will fight and I will win..." Jill: "Father, I will honor your name in this my final battle" Haar: "Will I survive this? ... I sure hope so..." Mia: "The Goddess Ashera herself! There is no better opponent in the whole world for my blade to face!" Titania: "Commander Greil, please, watch over us..." Soren: "If you are an enemy of Ike, you are an enemy of mine, It doesn't matter that you are a Goddess" Shinon: "...Right, an arrow in between her eyes, there is not much more to it than that" Edward: "Man, what a mess! But for the people turned to stone, I'll even point my blade at that odd woman over there!" Nolan: "...It is not about Daein anymore, this time, we are fighting for the freedom of the world" Sanaki: "Though I was never able to hear the voice of the Goddess, I stand here before you as the true Apostle of Begnion" Ena: "...Rajaion, I will fight on your name, and for the future of our tribe..." Best final battle of series. Most FE final bosses have you use the Lord to wail on the final boss, but Ashera forces you to give the whole army a role.

Great game. Loved the finale of it, probably my 2nd favorite FE, with some of the best maps in the series. Really good story, too, it just felt epic and larger-than-life, almost like a Final Fantasy game.

Heh, Ike does not even need Yune's power. He can still win with out it. In fact, I would say he can beat Ashunera (both Ashera and Yune combined) in a 1 on 1 battle since he can single-handedly wield Ragnell and Alondite.

He actually can since he's strong enough to single-handedly wield a two-handed sword that's been blessed multiple times. Of course, he probably would lose to Ashera if he fought by himself, but he is definitely capable of hurting her. My mistake if I exaggerated about him winning against Ashunera because on second thoughts, that's merely impossible. Anyways, as with Yune's blessings, they can be given only to certain people who are worthy of proving themselves. While they are a reason as to why Ike defeated Ashera, there's also a reason as to why Yune specifically chose Ike, even over the Laguz Royals. He's at least as strong as the Laguz Royals. The way I see it, Ike and Yune have a mutual relationship, Yune helps Ike, and Ike helps Yune. Ike may have had a rough start in Path of Radiance, but now he is basically a demigod. Canonically, he becomes the most powerful playable character in Radiant Dawn. There are exclusive feats he has to back up about him.

@@kris8571 no he definitely needs the blessing. This goddess is basically half of ashunera, who flooded the entire world cause she cried... Ike doesn’t compare to that without it. You are wrong on that.

@@kennethlatorre5269 Yeah that is definitely true. There is rly no evidence that Ike would actually beat Ashera without Yune’s blessing. Still, Ike does play a meaningful role as a tiebreaker because if he wasn’t there, the fight might just result in a stalemate between Yune and Ashera. (That’s prolly just down to speculation at that point tho cuz Yune can still just bless a Laguz Royal or something and get the job done)

Theres no real “tutorial” to it, but here are some tips: -Before entering he tower of guidance, remove all Parity/Nihil skills from units you arent bringing (Lucia, Nolan, Calill). Equip it to the strongest units, since this will prevent asheras aura from counterattacking you (Usually I give them to my fast units like Edward or Heather since they can double attack her but its also wise to give it to the tanks eg Haar or Aran). -Always bring the fortify staff (or if youre willing to go through the trouble, make ike fight the black knight in part 3 to unlock sephiran who has the ashera staff). This staff will heal everyone in the map, so its useful to avoid dying from asheras judgement every turn. I usually use it right after her map judgement to allow units to attack her. If the damage is still too much, vigor your staff user to reuse it. -Utilize the environment bonuses. Make the non-magic users attack the aurora on wardwood and magic users to covers for maximum damage. Conversely, place them on the necessary tile that would protect them from Asheras judgement each turn. -If you can, use the dragons (Nasir, Gareth, Kurth). Their Tide skills are very effective in combating aura, especially nasir who can help some units double attack her. Just be careful since their low speed might make them easy target for asheras remote auras (Normal mode and up) which could be deadly. Usually I give them resolve to deal with this. -Use your heron frequently. I recommend reyson since he has the best stats and can vigor 4 units when transformed, +he has the most movement. Remember aura heals 40 each turn, so its best to take them out in one turn. If youre worried of the spirits dealing damage to units, leave the aura with a little hp left for the spirit to heal instead of combating. -Aim for a quick game. Asheras judgement is deadly, and there are only 5 uses for Fortify/Ashera staff. Take out the auras one at a time an as soon as possible. The strategy itself is really up to you, but that is the beauty of strategy games! Good luck!

Get someone to level 16-20 easy Edit: 3 years later but screw cap stats and use bonus exp. You always get 3 stats when using bonus exp so if you play your cards right, you can have a army of 17 units with cap stats in everything! Naturally units with high bases and growths make the best use out of this. Units with low caps also make... use of of this such as mages (although that's because their caps SUCK)

His lineup are all high/top-tier units, so their growths naturally cap easily. A common strategy is to get them to cap their stats with high growths, then use bonus exp to take care of the rest. You can accelerate the process by giving the stat boost items to those who excel in said stat if they capped all their other favored stats (Example: giving edward speedwings when he already capped his strength skill and hp, so the bonus exp level ups can focus on his weak stats like resistance) Also the blossom skill can pretty much guarantee any unit to cap their stats.
