Ephiraim'supports are really criminally underrated,lmo. I don't think he has a single bad support. Even though the B support is kinda goofy, i think the A and C are decent. You can tell he does care about Tana, but doesn't really know how to put it into words. Where Tana wants to be at his side, but she doesn't want to be a damsel in distress to burden him.

Honestly, this support _really_ could've been better. Maybe it should have been the C and B supports rolled into one, A support moved to B, and have a new conversation in A. IDK. That being said, because I think Ephraim's Alm-esque character _really_ needs someone to balance and keep him in check much like Celica does with Alm himself (I mean, there's already Eirika and Seth, but you can never be too sure), and L'Arachel is a) rather weird as she is (she'd probably give Seth a lot of headaches, especially if she is his sister-in-law lol), and b) taken by Innes (most of the time), Tana tends to be my go to spouse for Ephraim (plus, I think the political power that comes with a marriage with a Frelian royalty would help him a lot with the nobility).

That last part is why I hate this pairing. I understand the move, but God damn, it's scummy, because it genuinely feels like Ephraim doesn't give a crap about Tana and, hypothetically, would only be doing it for *that reason*

Like, for example, it could've explored some of Ephraim's suppressed regrets over, say, losing his father and taking his friends, especially Lyon, for granted, with Tana trying to help him cope with it, and him appreciating that. Show more moments of him being, well, friends with her.

Man, this support chain is such a fucking waste. Ephraim x Tana is a good ship, and has a lot of opportunities for Ephraim to get in touch with his emotional side, while Tana could come to learn why Ephraim is so detached all the time. But no, they went with Ephraim not shutting the fuck up about Innes for half of it, and Ephraim seemingly not giving a shit for the other half.
