Hi, Brent! This lesson on the fire in the Brazilian favela really struck a chord with me. It’s tragic to hear about the damage to the community library that helps local children. Your explanations of the phrasal verbs and idioms made the lesson very engaging. Looking forward to learning more!

Thank you teacher for these lessons! The niche of English lessons based on working out news, articles, and reports is fairly spare so far on KZbin. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't encounter such lessons often. This media language is so complex, so sophisticated, good to have a chance to make it out. Wish all the best to your channel!

Botafogo are two words together. Bota is a verb and could be translated by “ set”, and fogo is “fire”. This two words together could be translated by “ set fire”.
