Yeah, for December it could be normal with snow on the ground ( City and County that aren't hilly ) and then in the hills there could be a snowstorm and it gets more slippery on the roads. So if you go thru the hilly areas without snow chains you basically just slide everywhere. Would be fun to see for sure

It's just a limitation of the GTA V game engine. RDR2's game engine could do that no problem. Too bad you couldn't just port GTAV's assets to the newer one without getting sued by Take Two Interactive for it. But it's truly amazing what they've been able to do with something that was released in 2013

Polecat, in LSPDFR, you can go up to your trunk and press "G" to get a fire extinguisher, get full health and ammo, use traffic cones, etc.

Snow is a texture? So could they convert to snowy by adjusting the opacity gradually? Snow texture layered on top of normal texture but starts at 1% visible, then increases over 5 minutes to 100%.

FYI, snow chains on passenger vehicles are illegal. Semis and large commercial trucks can put them on for a short distance and US Postal vehicles can have them on anytime while on the roadway as long as they don’t go over a certain speed. Usually residential road speed.

A good gradient to the snow texture would going from dry to wet to snow. Because when theres water on the ground and so is snow in gta it is a very nice combination that makes legit looking slush
