Came here to say exactly this. I want only the apps I've downloaded for my kid to be available. There should be a setting to show "downloads only " while staying connected to wifi.

@@cafowle06 I was able to remove everything. Just get rid of the subscription and download only the apps you want. That's what I did. I've got three kids under the subscription that came with the tablet. I took away their access to the free one year subscription, then I downloaded the two or three apps that I wanted them to have access to.... My oldest son didn't like it at first because he didn't have access to a motorcycle game (which I didn't want him playing anyways). My wife and I love it now!!!! I hope this helps! I too, was ready to get rid of it, but now it's good!

Pania i need your help please, I just bought kids fire, and I want to delete all the apps and leave only the ones I want, but your menu is different from mine, i dont hace the delete or block app like you have.

I don't think you can. I've been trying to do the same. I only want the apps I downloaded to appear, and to remove everything else. I haven't had any luck with finding out how to do that.

I was able to remove everything. Just get rid of the free subscription that comes with the tablet and download only the apps you want. That's what I did. ​@@ben2joshwhen you say delete the subscription, do you mean not having the tablet run Amazon kids? And have it function like a regualr tablet? When you deleted the subscription, do you still have the parental control iptions?

@themagawizi120 Removed the child from being able to access the Amazon Kids+ Subscription. There will still be parental controls on the tablet.
