Some things about Ellen and Soukaku. Ellen has an Ex2 which has a huge multiplier. Use it, especially in her burst combos. Ellen's BA3 (the kicked scissor spin) can be held for extra damage. Timer doesn't start until the enemy spawns, so on fights like Shiyu Defense where you start with energy, you can Ex twice with Soukaku in the starting area to pre-build stacks so you don't need to do it during the fight. That said, Soukaku is presumably on her sig. Remember that its combat atk buff is pretty short lived, so the strongest burst combo is to 99 a stun, then switch Soukaku in to Ex a few times for both vortex and to activate her sig's buff, trigger the stun with flag plant, then go straight into Ellen's chain-burst combo, so that her burst gets all of Soukaku's bonuses and you have a longer stun period for Ellen to go ham in. Using Soukaku's chain to pass the buffs almost always loses her sig LC's buffs because both their chain animations are so long (but admittedly is WAY easier and smoother to play), and the combat Atk buffs are significant enough that you really want them, especially for Ellen's ult.

Just a note that im not sure of but at 2:52 you manage to do a Defensive Assist while Lighter has above 80 Morale so it appears if you delay the parry late enough the Defensive Assist will take priority over Quick Assist.

It does work and since you have lighter you can build Lycaon to be more of a sub dps. This team will be a lot better with the Ultimate changes coming

@@Dboi313x Lycaon is barely on-field when played optimally, and there are no buffs that Lighter introduces that profit Lycaon without also affecting Ellen, so I don't see why that'd change with Lighter. He's used for his debuffs, his damage output is dwarfed by the boatload of inherent Crit and Icedmg buffs that Ellen has

Buffing that much fire+ ice mean you can swap the 5th disc on your dps for attk or pen ratio instead of the usual ice or fire disc.

i think dw if you arent proficient with certain agents, the point of the showcase is to show how different teams compares with or without lighter in it. You did like 1 mis-swap in the Ellen but thats about it. 1 thing you should consider in the future though, since now that we are getting more agents, wengines also can start to overlap, what if Lycaon uses the lighter wengine instead for example? He wont be able to trigger some effects effectively, but its not a complete loss and it would be interesting to see what other agents can do with it

I know Ellen can't activate her additional ability in this case and that she would also lose the 20% Ice Damage from Soukaku's as well (not to mention the 10% Ice Res Shred from her M4) _but then she would get anti-interruption, a shield and the 25% increase to damage dealt from Caesar's additional ability to compensate With Lighter's 75% Ice buff and her actual 40% innate Ice Dmg, the loss in actual damage can't be countered by Caesar's faster animations and ease of use that not having to dodge provide?

I would have wished for a Burnice dps carry team instead of lucy. Burnice does tons of damage with hold left click (you need to do it only once she continues until she has depleted all heat) until you have enough energy to hold EX and repeat - Burnice/Caesar/Lighter would have been a nice test.

Have u tried him with Steam oven, For every 10 Energy accumulated, the equipper's Impact is increased by 2/2.3/2.6/2.9/3.2%, stacking up to 8 times. After Energy is consumed, this bonus remains for 8 more seconds. Lighter can use his Special twice in a row, maxing out 8 stacks, he would get at most 25,6% additional impact, higher than the Restrained shouldnt it be a lot better to use than the Fossilzed core?

I would like to have more informations about Hellfire Gears (since I have this weapon) - Do you gain 2 stacks if you do Lighter's whole EX special? (uppercut + followup attack/strike down) - With the ER it provides, can't you use his whole EX special everytime you switch to him? - If so, shouldn't/couldn't you go like: switch in > EX special > NA 5/ORA ORA Instead of switch in > NA5/ORA ORA > EX special So you gain the impact buff before unleashing the NA5/Star Platinium?

Yes we gain 2 stacks but most of the time we won't have enough energy to do it consistently. Switch in from Ex special resulting in starting the combo from start from NA 4 instead of 5 so it will take a bit longer but it's not much a problem from what i tested, and finishing Lighter's jab gives him bonus impact which is why it's preferred to use Ex Skill after his jab/NA5 if not using hellfire gears Although with all that said, Hellfire Gears still better than his free engine options even with different rotation
