3:55 there was several occasions when 2\3 scorch talent didn't proc even after 5 shots so personally I prefer 3\3. It's like Seal Fate rogue talent - either 5\5 or 0\5.

Mage was so great back then... I miss this old class dynamics where you were a mage who had avaiable all of its spells with a fire specialisation. So you get to decide what you want to use. And Frostfire Bolt.... Flurry is no comparison to such a nice spell.

@NibbaiWotlk A guide for warlocks. Do not be dumb and do not start with immolate as 99% of locks do. Fire Mage casts Fire Ward, so you cannot use direct dmg fire spells. 1. Use Devour Magic to dispel it. If it fails (Devour dispels only 1 effect per cast) cast CoE, Corrupt, Shadowburn, get to close range (mage chases you so its not that hard or you can use nitro boots from engineering), and you can use some engineering aoe stun or aoe fire damage bomb if you have, and cast Shadowflame with its slow effect. Teleport immediately and cast Rain of Fire at the slowed mage to fuck the Fire Ward off... :D (Or you can apply Shadowflame + Shadowfury to make him blink and cast Rain of Fire afterwards but he can interrupt you...) If you set the teleport properly, mage cannot get into range for his Counterspell to stop channeling Rain of Fire :D When the Fire Ward is down, cast Immo and all fire spells you want and reapply Corrupt, CoE and Shadowburn if neccessary. Fire Ward has only 30 sec CD so you have to dispell it or destroy it again when mage casts it. Use Shadow Bolts instead of incinerate if you have Backdraft proc and mage casts Fire Ward again. FW can reflect direct fire damage but aoe damage cannot be reflected, thats the point :D Use Drain Life and Drain Mana when you need it and when you have time for that. Set up some addon which warns you about his procs, especially Hot Streak. When it procs, use Devour Magic to steal the instant Pyro, it sometimes helps. :D Set the felhunter to stay away from you like when you fight shadow priest, fire mage wants you to share the living bomb explosion with your pet... Do not attack the mage with your pet, because the mage cannot profit from blazing speed so it is a bit harder for him to chase you and get to the close range for Dragon Breath. If you have glyphed teleport, you can try to use the teleport when mage is about to use Dragons Breath. This skill needs some practice, Adouken could do that, I did not see any other warlock that can do it except him and me :D He shows it at this video at 4:14 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJbUoK2KnMqmrM0 The teleport circle cd quite matches the Dragon Breath cd. Also you can glyph your corruption to get some instant shadow bolts, apply it on mage clones too, so you have more procs. When you need to burst him, get a Backdraft proc, cast chaos bolt, or incinerate and in the 1/3 of the cast, apply Spell Lock silence, its long enough to push through 2 strong fire spells without interruption and combine it with Conflagrate and Shadowburn = Bursted :D Use Shadowfury at 3 cases: 1 - to interrupt his cast, 2. After he blinks so he cannot remove the stun and you can use some cast spell on him 3 - Shadowfury in combination with fear fake cast for example to force his counter spell. I know its not a guide that gives you 100% chance against fire mages as destro warlock but I hope it helps. Happy practicing :D

No, you absolutely shouldn't consider that. You don't get any mana regen from spirit as a mage when you are in combat (unless you use mage armor, but that negates your molten armor idea). Also converting spirit to crit using molten armor will give you like half the crit rating (in comparison with using crit pieces), so having even one spirit piece as a mage (for pvp) is completely wrong. Please, don't ever do that (unless you are my arena opponent, that is).

Quality vid, played fire mage through every xpac (well, till WoD). V good notes & handy resource for upcoming Wotlk. One little thing I'd add is that Ice Lance is v good for putting warrs/rogues/druids in combat, especially in BGs assuming you don't want to waste CS

Love fire pvp. Some higher geared frost mage tried to gank me (I was 4.6k with only furious set and furious staff) and I thought I was gonna lose but managed my impact procs and dragons breath and blast wave effectly and killed him 🤣

Thanks! I can do that kind of video, but counter-classes are counters for reason. If that counter class is on same level of skill as you it makes almost impossible to win that matchup.

@@NibbaiWotlk Thats why i do not like that idea of counter classes, more precisely counter talent specs. I stopped pvping because of that. I wanted a game where the win or loss is determined by skill of the oponents, and not a game where someone beats me because his abylities are superior against my abylities. Blizzard made the game in this counter spec idea, and I cannot change that... By what right can someone beat me because of his superior abylities?? By blizzards rigt?? I want players to beat me because they played better in the fight, not because they have superior counter spec against me. For example, as destruction warlock, I cannot beat DKs, Fire Mages, Enha Shamans... And blizzard does not care. And what when I meet that counters in BG or arena? I can sit down and wait for death until Mr. Superior spec kills me. Great! Newer expansions are a bit better, there is a bigger posibility to beat any other spec and show skill. But WotLK - are awful in this.

@@lukesky9627 the game is balanced around pve. The pvp balance is with arena in mind, not 1v1, so 1v1 is never fair and isn't supposed to be. But I think that makes it fun. If all classes were extremely balanced for 1v1 it would ruin the fun imo

Addon that shows enemy cd is Aesa. Find it ingame click settings>interface>find aesa addon and you will see "Lock(Uncheck to move)", uncheck it and you will be able to move that bar. Second one is Cheese addon im not sure if i put that one into folder because i think i downloaded it later, so download it manually. Thanks!

Crit is higher with pure crit build but you run out of mana quickly thats why people mostly rush Spirit builds with molten armor
