I'm liking this stove. It's unique and unlike any other stove I've seen. The size is perfect for this setup and the grill attachment is a selling point on this. I'd consider getting one of these for sure. Thanks for sharing, Mark!

Aluminum foil tent over them should assist cooking time. Nice looking unit. In a power outage, much safer than charcoal or gas grill. I'm all in for ham and grilled cheese sandwiches, but for sure those hot Itailian sausages. Cheers

Love the idea. Wish it had a smooth surface on the underside for doing eggs or something duel purpose. Nice to use on my knock off woodburner stove too if it would hold up to a wood fire.

I have not tried it with a wood stove yet (fire ban) but as long as the flames are not too intense it should grill well. The heat should not be a problem for the grill itself. Thanks for commenting

G'day Mark, multiuse, love it !!! ....... and big enough for a decent size T-bone ; ) Its not gonna be a light carry anyway, so I reckon they might as well go beefier on the tongs. Cheers Duke.

I do like this odd stove. Do you think you could use that grill on a large Esbit stove with an alcohol burner? That grill is cool. Grilling some bell peppers and onions to make philly cheesesteak without the bread, sounds good. I like to split a sausage down the middle and grill it that way. ✌️🇺🇸😉🇨🇦✌️

Now we're talking, when 5 miles out across Milacs, and a bit spooky crossing over open cracked ice two foot wide gash, over open water getting across handmade micro bridges in 4 wheel drive truck. Cheers

That is a convenient little package. Haven't come across that stove before. I like the structure of it, looks like it will be extra stable.

No sir. I got 5% from the website. But later cancelled order. Then reordered from AMAZON. got the orange gas stove and sunflower grill but not the leather fuel cover. I used AMAZON because no long wait. I get it Dec 1. Also I can make monthly payments. Much easier on my strained budget. Looking forward to getting my new "toys"

Mark can you see if it will fit on the firebox nano . I’m thinking the bottom may cause a problem with stability, thanks in advance.

I am glad you asked me to check that. The grill fits on top of the Nano better than I thought it would. The two rails on the bottom of the grill are just wide enough apart to allow the pot supports to sit on the outside of them. The pot supports can be turned out at about 30degrees, it rides on top perfectly. It does not sit correctly if you set the Nano in the groves of the X-case. I will likely be using this setup. i have been using mine with the titanium blade 2 quite well. i would have rathered it not have the grill ridges and it be just a flat surface so i can use it for eggs.

@@MarkYoungBushcraft I was inspired by the grills form factor so much I've ordered a bunch of similar plates from a Japanese brand called 'captain stag' as well as a large 'rice cooker' that it all fits into.
