I'm sorry for your loss. I've not experienced exactly what you have but I do know how it feels to go through a tragedy that truly shakes you to your foundation. I think all you can do is take comfort in the people who care about you and trust that one day things will get better and it wont hurt anymore.

There isn't a good way about this. Watch for depression in your wife. Have her get some counseling. Give her hugs when she needs them and give her space when she needs. She needs time as well as you do. Take your time with this. It's just the way it is sometimes in life.
