If only malta units were pop efficient. They have the same problem as Mercs do in late game: super good and efficient for skirmishes and in equal numbers but they lack decisively strong units, are pop inefficient, require too many tech/shipments and are barely cost efficient in non counter match up situations. In Treaty it's probably better to go full archaic units

If I’m going late game/Treaty Malta I like using both flame throwers and Order cassadors. Fun grenadier/skirm combo.

you have to send 2 cards one in age 4 rockets and one in age 2 flamethrowers

If you are talking about fire throwers, they fight with all cards taken. Maltese cards give your units an extra health boost.

@@Ransom444 Yeah just that the other basic cards would give buffs too... so only 5 cards for example would give 10% boost. Didn't know if you'd Late Late Game the setup & give them 24/25 cards worth 48/50% H.P. increase.
