More than 900 families lost their homes due to the devastating fire that happened in Badjao, Dalahican, Cavite City, Philippines. A big nightmare happened to the residents of Barangays 5 and 7 Badjao after the fire broke out, resulting in more than 900 families losing their homes after it was engulfed in flames this Sunday afternoon. According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started at past 3:00 pm yesterday. The blaze reached the third alarm. The evacuation center at Dalahican Elementary School (DES) and Sta. my heart goes out for my kababayans .our family experienced the same way back in the 80's. and hirap bumawi. lahat ng ari arian namin nasunog,kahit mga ipis wiped out. wala kaming nailigtas kaya wala kaming mga childhood photos.sana may tumulong sa kanila makapag umpisa ulit. Cavite govt sana mapansin po.

I wish I was over there in the Philippines to help put out Fires , im a Advanced First Responder/Firefighter and have taken advanced firefighting techniques for combative knockdowns of Fire hotspots etc , I'm Emergency medically trained to do on site Lifesaving techniques for severe injuries, I took those classes and was certified through the university of Cornell School of medicine and EMT (Emergency medical technician) I enjoy helping save lives and their belongings, I could maybe move to the Philippines and get certified in the Philippines to help with the Fire departments and Ambulance services. #Godblessthephilipines#Ilovethephilipines#philipinesisthebest.

Tama ka kuya, isa sa problema sa Cavite City yang pagdami ng mga Badjao. Maliit lang ang Cavite City at yung espasyo na matitirhan ay kulang na nga para sa mga lehitimong Caviteño tas dumagsa pa ang pagkarami-raming mga Badjao. 80's at 90's walang Badjao sa Cavite City pero ngayon naku nakikipagsiksikan pa sa mga Caviteño. Ang land area ng Cavite City ay hindi lumalaki pero ang populasyon ang bilis bilis lumaki kaya nagsisiksikan ang mga tao tas nadagdagan pa ng exodus ng Badjao sa Cavite City. Dapat macontrol yan, Caviteño First. Yung mga namumuno sa Cavite City ay dapat mga purong Caviteño din.

Hala! Hindi ako makapaniwalang umabot na hanggang sa lugar na yan ang mga bahay sa badjao. Jan ako isinilang at lumaki sa lugar na yan. Noong kabataan ko ay halos kilala ko lahat ng nakatira jan dahil kakaunti lng ang bahay. Sa katunayan nga nyan ay kahit nakatayo ka sa kanto sa may monumento ay kitang kita mo ang dagat. At speaking of dagat, napakasarap maligo noon sa badjao sa dulo dahil malinis at malalim ang tubig. Ginagawa naming talunan ang dulo ng tulay. Madalas din akong mangapa ng alimasag at hipon noon jan kasama ang mga kababata ko. Anjan ako noong nakaraang taon lng. Sa totoo lng ay nakadama ako ng lungkot dahil hindi ko na halos kilala ang mga tao dun. Ibang iba na ang lugar. Hindi ko na makita ang dagat ni kahit ang dulo ng tulay. Wala n ang malakas at preskong hangin tuwing hapon. 😢😢 Ang mga kabahayan ay talagang dikit dikit na, di tulad noon n malalaki ang puwang sa pagitan ng bawat kabahayan. At wala akong matandaan n nagkaroon ng ganitong sunog noon dahil halos dagat nga ang makikita mo haaaay... 😢

Sempre que vi seus videos imaginei que isso um dia poderia acontecer. Porque as casas são de madeiras, lugar estreito e de pouca ventilação. Um cigarro acesso jogado no chão ou uma discarga elétrica poderia provocar um início de incêndio. Espero que as autoridades e pessoas façam suas doações para remover essas pessoas desse lugar e abrigar num lugar seguro. Aqui no Brasil tivemos várias acidentes com incêndios em favelas. Espero que todas essas famílias se restabeleçam e fiquem bem, Deus abençoe a todos.

The government should think about air dropping fire suppression through helicopter or even large planes. Such dense population creates issues getting equipment in the area. This is very sad

In the Philippines, the firemen put water onto the adjacent homes that are not on fire so that the fire doesn't spread. Although, alot of people believe that the firemen are paid by the homeowner who's house isn't on fire, to spray water on their house to protect it so that it doesn't catch on fire, which isn't true. The firemen puts water on to a house that's not on fire so that the fire doesnt spread because putting water onto a house that's already on fire, is a lost cause and their time is better spent on protecting the adjacent homes.
