lvl 18 fireball works the same if you bring 2 eq, and yes you do need to use rage gem

Im running nearly the same army as you but people keep telling me to use spiky instead of rage, still i prefer rage over spiky

haven't faced it yet but shouldn't be too big of a problem since witches do splash damage. mass witch cc's are more annoying imo because the skeletons just keep on spawning and sometimes i do need to freeze them.
