@@joaovictor_of I mean... only what you need against druid is luck. If they don't get breath or emb in their opener +2 draws they run bottom t.2 deck at most, probably t.3. It's at least super quick match - they draw nothing they concede, they draw quest + ramp or emb + ramp you concede. In 80% of cases those concedes are correct. Game continues only with their mediocore draws.

probably should have swipe. I know it doesn't seem obvious choice with an embiggen deck, but ive found much better success with it. Gives you reach, and it comboes with archmage. Plus SOOOOOO many 1hp minions right now even if it wern't for lackeys. Zoo is still a popular th ing and swipe is pretty good against zoo. 1:30 play many many matches. Can confirm, firbat is right. Strength in numbers into a taunt is infinitely better than ramp against high aggro decks. Against face hunter I think its actually the only way you win against a good face hunter draw. I won one of my last games to legend this way but just playing like 20 taunts and never attacking to activate traps until I had lethal.... thouughhhhh ramp is probably just better against dragon hunter.... I also wasn't playing oondasta. Maybe its not better with the beast build idk.

@@ArmsmanX yeah I ran both. Swipe is necessary, leeroy is just good against some decks. Like FUCKING QUEST PRIEST... and some others. So if you hate it when you see leeroy, you can thank the existence of decks like quest priest.

It's really needed to do some minion cleaning on aggressive decks on turn 4, when you often can't play any of your minions.

@@nickmagrick7702 Swipe is necessary, Leeroy is just highroll option. Some matches really good, when you have great opener also very good but overall questionable. If you don't get emb or breath in opener + 2 first draws Leeroy is just dead draw besides superslow match-ups. That's why highroll. Technically you can run Scorcher in Swipe slot to make room for sth if you really badly need it. It's considerably worse but combines more factors. I had to cut swipe in my experimental double quest embiggen druid and I run 1 scorcher to have at least one 1 dmg aoe.

Frizz helps offset the added cost given by Embiggen, but I'd say she's not required. Another midrange-y minion or even a Swipe would work as a backup.

Climbed from ten to five today with a slightly tweaked token druid(an additional power of the wild and ziliax instead of two soul of the forests) and every time I faced embigen druid I won. Might be because people didn't know how to play the deck. Or maybe I was too low on the ladder, but tokens really feel powerful.

Token druid is one of the rare counters, along with res priest (biggest counter), holy wrath paladin, zoolock, handlock and to some extend control warlock. In almost every other matchup, druid is favoured.

Or you were lucky. Emb. Druid is all about opener. They draw nuts literally nothing beats them, they draw totall air almost everything beats them. Interesting games occur only with their mediocore hands. Whenever I see in opener emb + ramp I concede with clear concious no matter what i play - don't play res priest and face hunter though - and I believe it is correct move. 77-78% winrate if they hit both is actually enough.

I made a treant deck tonight just for an excuse to play with the new treant hero and immediately queued into back to back quest rogues that each had double rush totem golem and double 0-mana vendetta in their opening hands. The one I bothered to keep playing against also randomly generated a rolling fireball into a flamestrike to wipe the only two boards I managed to build after that crazy opening. This has nothing to do with deck balance or laddering capabilities, just sharing one of the many joys of playing Hearthstone in a highroll meta.

@Lamp Boi If you play nearly any Embiggened card by turn 6/7, you've probably won already. Swipe alleviates the pressure when you don't draw Embiggen or Breath of Dreams. It also shores up Druids weakness to flood. Something Surger would still struggle with.
