SLA for the win!!! Those Cragar's (had the same ones on my Wrangler) came out very nice! I only have FDM and when I do 1/24 prints the wheels suffer. Like your other video with the Skyline, this is making me want to pull a Subaru out of the closet and design a complete AWD drivetrain.

If you need to, cut your knuckles to 90 degrees to prevent rubbing and to allow more steering angle, if you cut them properly your get up to 40 or 50 degrees steering angle

As for lining things up like that rear axle, you can make it a lot easier by drilling holes for clothing pins to locate the position you want before dedicating it to that location with super glue. Although it looks like you nailed the location of that rear axle without locating pins.

child age me is losing my shit knowing how easy it was to acquire reasonably cheap models like this one... adolescent age me effing LOVES the level of maker and reverse/re-engineering taking place with this build adult me wishes I'd thought along these lines with the advent of 3D printing... I'll be keeping a keen eye on these vids, this level of work is remarkably satisfying to watch and 'participate in vicariously' Quick question for you Make it RC, do you have any spec listings for the 3D printer you're using? some of those parts you're printing... are they straight printed, or are you making molds and then making stuff like the wheels and tyres that way??
