Apollo is good album, focusing on the direction and the theme. He's absolutely in different space from when he did LTG (I mean he was introducing his sound to us). And on this we saw more of his range. Fireboy can't go wrong for me lol, I love the album. Faves: Sound, Champ, Favorite song, Spell, Dreamer, Remember Me. Least Fav: Shade.

Exactly same thing I was saying... It's easier to rate Apollo a better album on first listen because it's easier on the ears as compared to TAT that has various sound and personality.on the Apollo album,I have seen this too many times,music like this don't last because they lack personality and strong lyrics and easily forgettable. All the music on TAT had various personality and sound and very strong lyrics. On the long run album like that will stand out. Check apple music, people are already tired of Apollo. What really stood out for me on Apollo album was the beats. Phellz did amazingly well.

I loved the album but to be honest half way through I started getting tired, the songs were good on their own but listening to the full album you kinda get tired at a point...i always go back to the beginning wen I get half way (shade)... I feel the arrangement wasn't that good
