All of this mentally programs a black child growing up with this to feel less good about themselves and this gives rise to all these Africans who depigment their skin. South African here, I Fell in love with Afrobeat 11 years ago when I was still a student at UCT. Man I love how this genre of music is so African and soothing although sometimes I do not understand some words. I hope this emerging fusion of Afrobeat and Amapiano does not disrupt this beauty.
