Sad that his 1v3 against lime in BB didn't make it in. For context, two players jumped at him at the same time, he killed one, third player came to help and he ended up killing them both. Most of the 1v3s you see are just 3 1v1s with time in the middle to regen. However, FBM pulled off 2 1v2s consecutively which is much more impressive

I mean, if I remember, the lime 1v3 was really a 2v3. Impulse did arrive and hit gizzy down enough for fire to kill easily. So... I can understand why that wasn't a play here. Don't count Impulse out!

The cool part about sands of time was that he after hearing that there was one minute left he went down an entire tunnel to open blue vault and then on his way out exploring even more parts. The entire chat was stressing and if that wasn't enough, he then went around spawn after filling the timer with only a bit and doing parkour and stuff to get even more coins until he finally decided to leave

yeah he maximized his time really effectively, even skipping some sand that would've taken 10 or more seconds to collect. idk why but I always see people go like 15 seconds out of their way to collect 1 piece of sand, and fbm knew not to do that, which was super impressive.

@@timob1681 That's why I said only if you have enough time. It's probably not worth it for FBM on that team, it can definitely be worth it for someone who isn't the best player on the team though. If Impulse would've wasted 15 seconds for a piece of sand, it probably would've been worth it.

@@erk25113 He argued that FBM didn't consider the risk vs reward before jumping into dangerous situations. For example, he didn't look at how little was in the room that he died in at the start. He also let mobs build up. I agree that he was literally risking his team's win by everything crazy he did, and maybe he'll play differently assuming there's a next time, but I also think if he's comfortable playing like that then he might as well keep doing it. We'll see. My only critique is that he and Impulse (haven't checked Blushi's yet) took sand out of the spawn room when they should have left it there for Bdubs. I don't think that was ever discussed but Bdubs had very little to work with and I think people had to return early as a result.

@@Ajlez Yeah, he's definitely good enough to be able to go for risky plays, the nerves just got to him. Not killing mobs is actually a pretty good strategy if you're good at avoiding hits, Wolfeei mentioned it being a strategy the testers used to do. Tbh, I think he should go for almost everything unless he has a lot of coins on him. The big mistake was dying with 6 sand, if he dropped the sand before doing the parkour it wouldn't really have mattered. Other than that his run was almost perfect. FBM only took 1 sand from the spawn room, that didn't really make a difference. Bdubs didn't do all the parkour or levers, that's probably why he didn't have a lot to do.

i love hbomb, but he's always way too nitpicky, especially given he's not even the best sands of time player. fbm's run was one of the most impressive I've ever seen, especially in maximizing time and team comms. instead of panicking or ever hesitating while thinking about the time, he kept collecting coins until the very last second. he did consider the risk/reward of the lava parkour, it was really easy parkour, he just messed it up because of nerves. everything he did seemed risky but he was completely comfortable with it, and it would've taken a lot more time for him to do things the methodical way hbomb preaches as the only correct way to play. hbomb's strategy is basically to never take any risks and avoid dying at all costs, while in reality, you can get way more points by taking even a few small risks.
