Fired Oakland police chief says new report vindicates his actions

Former Oakland chief of police LeRonne Armstrong says he's vindicated by a new report that concludes allegations that led to his firing lacked credibility. KTVU obtained a copy of this confidential report.

Soooo you lie about the reasons for firing him, don’t show any urgency to fill the role and drag on the search. Sounds like sowing chaos to me and, unfortunately, the most impoverished in Oakland suffer the consequences. This mayor is not better than the Joker in Batman, just letting pure chaos to happen in the city with no intent of helping the people. I stand with Chief Armstrong, who is the right person for this job, but heck I’m sure he doesn’t want it now.

The mayor also didn’t file the paperwork to get $15,000,000.00 in state funds to fight crime on time. Oakland desperately needed that money and she has no reason for not filing the paperwork.

San Francisco and Oakland need an overhaul. As painful as it is to say, it’s time to turn the page and move away from Democratic control ( at least for now) because it’s simply insane to let this kind of condition continue administration after administration after administration. We really got to shake things up now. Do we really want to deal with the outrageously high cost of living here just to put our families’ safety and wellbeing at stake? Something’s got to give.😐🫤😑
