I'd love to see some cross over with Star Saga, like a way of incorporating those Mercs into Deadzone again, and in FireFight. Star Saga is probably my favorite Mantic Game.

I loved the old edition of Firefight, and thought it was inspired, Even some rules that I didn't love like how people with flamethrowers could blow up when killed. Played games of 1st ed Firefight up to 4000 points. Never got around to trying Warpath but bought a lot of team bases in preparation to try it. Looking forward to getting Command Protocols.

My 2nd edition Imperial Guard army for 40k was one infantry squad, a command squad, some heavy weapons, and a Leman Russ company and an artillery company. I sold my army when 3rd edition came out and I had to field entire platoons of infantry to get my tanks out. I was very excited to be getting my kids amd myself into Firefight finally in the next couple of months here, and I'm even more excited having heard more about Annihilation. Now Enforcers need Land Raiders and we're golden. (Jk, but that woukd be awesome. I likes me an improbably high profile ww1 tank with slabs of armor and laser guns and an assault ramp, for some reason.)

Is the Wolverine tank the same model that Archon Studios released as part of their Rampart terrain KS? They do really good work.

Yes, latest wave of Firefight releases had a brand collaboration with both Archon and Warlord.

A Spanish translation of the regulations would be nice, like in kow, deadzone v2, vanguard...... it would be a great step for the Spanish-speaking community to be interested in the game and for us Pathfinders to be able to make demos more easily, perhaps a Christmas present? thank you

Firefight looks really cool. I just have no idea of anyone who plays it in the Chicago area. Unless it's 40k, AOS or StarWars, is almost impossible to find players.😢

I know the feeling, I am a big fan of Mantic games who discovered them rather late, but found there is almost no community here except for Kings of War, disappointing really because the games are very worthy.

Hello, I have looked at your site, what should have changed. It says that the dice should no longer be halved if you have to roll more than an 8. In the book, however, the rule is still inside that the number of dice must be halved. Which of these is now correct?

From the explanations I've read, this is abnormally large for what it normally will be. So it was a toss up of setting the format from the beginning for the yearly updates or do two books and possibly confusing players as to what Command Protocols is supposed to be. 😉

@@rayslover8526 in fairness to mantic on this one neither of those games are mean to simulate tank battles. Gaslands is tons of fun though, can't speak for speedfreaks as I have never played it.

They're talking in the context of 28mm sci-fi planes, tanks, walkers etc in their own big dedicated game mode. Ronnie and Matt have been in the industry for decades and definitely know what else is out there.
