@MrProHLG i'd say it's something totally different. No aliens n such. folks left earth cuz it was used up and it's only humans in space, though Jayne is kinda a Rambo Character while Mal is a Rocky kinda guy. I highly recommend you go rent it and if you can rent the series Firefly or just plain buy em cuz well they're totally worth it.
