@@Yuki_Ika7 Well Elio's script for her was rather short, and according to Blade, refusing to read the script won't let her avoid what happens in it. If the script truly is very short for Firefly, perhaps her role as a Stellaron Hunter is too? I hope her Entropy-loss Syndrome can be cured, otherwise, even if she joins us as a Nameless, she'll have to rely on SAM for life support. Like a firefly is in reality, Firefly's race of clone humans, their life is brief. They were only created to be weapons of war, expendable at that. I think the only reason she's lived this long before getting recruited to the Stellaron Hunters, is she was trapped in stasis before Kafka saw her out in space

Game showed how terrifying bugs are, at least to me. When swarm disaster only came out I was still kinda underleveled. After I stumbled upon a swarm occurrence, I legit fought them for 20 minutes straight. I was on the verge of tears when I won. When I killed all the bugs but one, more spawned.

@@jaykhobrekar3619 I get that, but I’m talking more about story than gameplay. The Argenti quest was mostly comedic. Ruan Mei’s quest did a better job, but the horror aspect of the quest didn’t last very long and could’ve been more fleshed out.

It depends on how your teams are built for fighting the swarm, I don't know about you, but I have only fully cleared the Swarm Disaster SU on Max level a maximum of about 7 times and I have had at least 15 runs where I did not defeat the final boss

Funny to hear “We haven’t gotten much lore on the Swarm” when that was the whole point of Simulated Universe: Swarm Disaster, so here’s a quick run down. Basically there was a race of bugs that, by some event, was wiped out. The final survivor was so lonely it ascended to become Tayzzyronth, the Aeon of Propagation. THEY then started mass reproducing, creating offspring so fast it caused a universal disaster. It took 5 Aeons to bring Tayzzyronth down, and even then THEY’RE not dead, just sealed away. The Swarm still exists today in a much smaller capacity, but it still causes disasters for many worlds. Glamoth is one of the planets that was attacked by the Swarm. In order to destroy it, the government created an “Empress” called Titania, who could control and command the Sams. Then they created (thought to be from clones of her) genetically modified warriors, all of whom piloted Sams and suffered Entropy-Loss Syndrome, the condition Firefly has that slowly degenerates her body. The soldiers all believed that Glamoth was this great empire, which gave them a cause to fight for even though they were essentially cannon fodder. They did sorta win, but something happened that ended the world either way. In fact this battle is theorized to take place after Glamoth’s fall on a nearby planet or one of its moons, with these last few Sams remaining to wipe the remnants of the Swarm unaware that the cause they’re fighting for is gone.

Like the 5 aeons, how Fuli remembers all of this, how exactly did Tazzy "die". Why is the swarm still active. What happened to Ena? What was the Voracity doing during this. The entire universe of hsr's and the effects this had on life. It even sets up future conflicts and future Aeons transcending because of the effects it had

@@Chuy1029 there is a difference. Story is more the game showing and telling you through the gameplay. Lore is more background information that’s usually read on the side, both in and out the game. SU is a good example of giving lore, while companion or main quests are an example of giving story through gameplay.

Glamoth being an interstellar empire is a lie that was told to the Iron Calvary. They were told that they were loved by the people of the glamoth empire and so they should fight and die for the Empress. But in truth, it was all a lie made up by the glamoth republic who was much smaller than they claimed to the iron Calvary. They hated and feared them, make it so the Calvary would die out after the swarm was dealt with.

Sounds like, and probably is, that the Empress a mere pawn, people around her just forced her to do their bidding by keeping the swarm busy using her clones while they escape. The cavalry soldiers were educated(brainwashed) since birth to give their live "for glory of the Empress". Firefly finally realized how everything doesn't make sense as the sole survivor of the Iron cavalry. The last scene where the planet exploded represents her breaking away from her chains(past), she is finally free but at the cost of losing everything. Which might also explain how she refuses to believe predetermined fate and is always fighting against it.

There is a bit of lore about the planet Glamoth and it's empress Titania in the game ties to the relic set. I'm heavily paraphrasing, but the planet Glamoth was invaded by the swarm during the same time as rest of the Swarm disaster shown in the Simulated Universe. In order to fight back the swarm, they created clones based on the empress Titania. It was a numbers game, and at a certain point the numbers of dead SAM units and Swarm ended up blotting out the sun, bringing the end to Glammoth. It seems like the units kept fighting, leading to this scene here. Btw, this all happened several astral eras ago, meaning Firefly has been drifting in space for what was probably thousands of years before Kafka found her.

The Stellaron Hunters truly are a mystery. And honestly, would Elio want us to know everything about the organization? Or would keeping us confused and in the dark be part of his script?

@@CartoonyPirate Nope, that's the story that was fed to the Iron Cavalry by their "Empress" Titania, who was sort of a hivemind for all of the members of the Cavalry, controlling them through dreams and making them think they were fighting for a mighty empire. Instead they were fighting for what was probably only one or 2 planets at most. Glamoth did, technically, fight off the swarm... But then fell because all the space debris left over from the war blotted out the sun, and also the swarm came back. The animated short probably takes place on one of Glamoth's moons considering the lack of any greenery or water from when we see the planet prior to Firefly nuking it, and probably after Glamoth's fall considering that Firefly states that "Glamoth is already gone.".

So, what the SAM pilots are referring to as "Glamoth" and "Her majesty", is, it all started from a number of people, who created Titania, the Empress, and they used her to create clones of her, which are Firefly's race of humans. Hence why all the SAM pilots share visual traits. Glamoth's royal empire was nothing but a lie. Titania was created to have a sort of psychic link with all the SAM pilots, and the pilots had their loyalty to Titania drilled into their heads, to the point they are willing to die for her. Even after she died. The SAM pilots were used to fight the Swarm, but the number of SAMs grew so frequently, to the point the people grew fear in them and Titania. To the point Glamoth was fighting with itself. Eventually, those in Glamoth perished, because the war against the Swarm went so horrible they blocked out their own planet's sunlight. These SAM pilots in this video, are the last remaining of those clones most likely. They weren't fighting the Aeon of Propagation, not even an Emanator. That large bug was that bug boss we fought in Simulated Universe. I'm probably doing a poor job explaining Firefly's lore. I suggest you look up somewhere the lore behind the fallen Glamoth empire. Almost anyone else in the know would do the lore explanation of this better than me. The Aeon of Propagation was only stopped because multiple Aeons cooperated with each other to deal with the Aeon of Propagation. All the sacrifices the SAMs made with their lives, all that did was slightly hold back the number Swarm bugs before the Aeons could deal with the Propagation. Even Firefly blowing up the planet or moon we see in this video to eliminate the Swarm on there, didn't deal a significant blow to the power of numbers of entities the Swarm possessed. Keep in mind though, that the Swarm Disaster took place very very long ago, so Kafka seeing Firefly there is likely after a HUGE timeskip. And since Firefly is an artificial human, she probably is allot older than she looks. And more resilient Kafka clearly would not be able to live that long

The Swarm is legit scary, when their Aeon was still alive, Tazzyronth the Propagation, they can clone themselves infinitely from the Path of Propagation. Its one of the worst disaster ever happened to the Honkai universe. The Swarm's clash with another Aeon, Ouroboros the Voracity, killed 2/3 of the universe. And it took the cooperation between 5 Aeons to take Tazzyronth down, and the Aeon is still alive, only sealed by Qlipoth.

Scary fact about them is that they can multipy using 2 ways. By laying eggs on their victim or multiplying. For more details, yes, the victims literally give birth to swarm bugs. And the worst part is they release pheromones that can make them think that it's their actual child so the victims won't kill the swarms babies

It's still around but mainly sealed away by Qlipoth. Raun Mei hypothesized that the Aeon of Propagation is no more thanks to the Iron Calvary, the team up of five WHOLE Aeons, and Qlipoth so she tried to replicate it(aka. the "Borehole Planet's Old Crater" Echo of War). The fact it took all of that to stop them, and the clone Ruan made literally fell apart shows much of a galaxy wide threat they were. Some people even think the history of the LC (On the Fall of an Aeon) talks about the Propagation itself, all those voices suddenly going silent, knowing death would be upon them, and there was nothing they could do about it

So Glamoth was the name of the planet and the empire that fought against the Swarm. The created a super soldier named Titania who was the empress of Glamoth and could control the SAM mechs but realised they could clone Titania which made all the Fireflys to pilot the mechs instead so the Firefly we know is a clone of Titania to pilot the SAM mech to fight the swarm but both Titania and Glamoth were destroyed before this trailer and then Firefly destroyed Glamoth ending the war. They said during the livestream that there could be more SAM's still out there but we don't know for sure.

Glamoth is the planet that Firefly and the other genetically modified soldiers in S.A.M. suits were told to defend. It was ruled by a monarch ( "the empress" Titania), and Firefly and her "siblings" were created to be the shock troopers to deal with the Swarm specifically. What you saw was the dead husk of the planet after the Swarm had already essentially butchered and sucked up all the resources of the planet. SAM's were essentially told "fight to the death for duty and honor, no matter what", which is why they were still on that rock fighting even when nothing was left. EDIT: So I was wrong. The empress was named. Correction in the comment originally.

LORE stuff if you all are interested -Glamoth is the empire named "The Repluclic of Glamoth" they genitically engineered the Iron cavalry. -All of them are made to have short life span and be mass produced to keep up with the swarm. -entropy loss syndrome is something everyone of the SAM have not just firefly most likely to make them not live long enough to be a threat after the swarm is over -each iron calvary is made in the likeness of "her majesty Empress Titania" -Titania can communicate all the SAMs but she herself is controlled by Glamoth who have fed the Iron cavaly the dream that they are loved by the Empire and are dying with honor when in reality the people fear them and athey are being used as cannon fodder ---you can read more on the Glamoth relic set from world 8 (or just the wiki its quite fun) -that was a minor swarm in the trailer -the swarm was at its peak affected 2/3 of the universe -one of there emantors (being bless by an aeon/god) Skaracabaz is called "the Starcrusher" and it's meant literally. Because it would crush an entire star, but the explosion wasn't one of heat but an entire supernova sized sting swarm. -aeon ascended because it was lonely can read more about them in swarm disaster (or just the wiki its makes more sense with better UI)

People keep saying that they're clones of Titania, the (possibly made-up) "Empress", but that's not said anywhere; the relic set just says Glamoth "altered human essence" to "create weapons born to fight".

Glamoth was an interstellar Empire and the only civilization to halt the swarm without intervention from an Aeon during the Swarm Disaster. It came at the cost of their entire civilization though. There don't seem to be many survivors. The Iron Cavalry if I remember correctly are all artificially created humans based off the DNA of the Empress of Glamoth. They don't seem to be one for one copies but they are more or less clones, hence the shared looks. There does seem to be both men and women. As for FF blowing up the planet they were on, I suspect it was either tapping into the path of destruction (Nanook would approve of blowing up a planet for sure) or perhaps the suits just have that much power. I think the former is more likely.

fun fact that battle happened during the end of the swarm disaster as Glamoth it self was lost during the middle of the disaster am unsure how but mite be cause they made the iron cavalry that was specifically meant to fight off the swarm, they where made so they grow up faster due to them being vat grown but also aren't meant to live long (if you know clone troopers from star wars basically those) meaning all of them had the same ELS (Entropy Loss Syndrome) but in return they got some sickass powers one being able to operate the S.A.M ( Firefly Type-IV Strategic Assault Mech) hella more effectively (there is a google or i think even some videos on all the things it can do.. also you did fight one during the main story as well, tho that one was canonically holding back) as for the swarm.. well the once you have encountered are the remnants of it so they aren't that strong (tho in the argenti story mission you did get swallowed by one.. yes they can get that big or even bigger)

I still can't figure out how old is Firefly since the swarm disaster happened ages ago. I mean I get that we have those bugs at the present time of the story, but there ain't no way that Glammoth's destruction happened recently. But then there is Kafka in that short. Did Firefly drift around in space for ages until they found her March 7th style, or did the Glammoth's iron cavalry manage to survive from the swarm dissaster that happened ages ago to fight the remaining swarm? Then again, the age of Pela is also questionable, so I'll just stop trying to make sense of some details of Honkai universe.

I'm pretty sure Glammoth's destruction was rather recent. I remember various people talk about Stellaron Hunter: Sam as one of Glammoth's Iron Cavalry, and no one mentioned about how ago that was - as if it's a recent thing. And follow-up to that: I don't think Glammoth's destruction happened during the Swarm Disaster. Probably just Swarm remnants. Similar to Tiernan's run-in with the Swarm that we learned of in Penacony's story.
