Oh wow. Special treatment for Highway Patrol Bandit. They do care! I think at this point Bandit is the annoying criminal that the cop secretly love because they know with her, they are not getting shot at. Maybe a taser or two sure and at worst wrecked vehicle. That is if they can dodge Bandit from giving them a baton to the head or a love tap with the knuckle duster. xD

So, in that lethal force situation... In the ensuing investigation by the state, if IRL, I would take a guess that all officers involved could or possibly lose their badges, at least, for it. Depending on the penal code, no lethal force was brandished or used against the cops or civilians.
