Why does Malta even bother with the televote? It has so little influence

To give people a reason to vote, plus under the years of equal jury to televoting in Malta they failed terribly apart from 2009, even then it was a jury who selected the super finalist. I suppose they do it help reduce the impact of the televoting, becuase they're "not so great" at picking. I liked Hypnotica but I doubt it would have qualified at ESC. I think a similar voting style should be used in the UK if we ever get the NF back because the public are just so hopeless.

Looking back at this I’m still convinced the juries set Malta up to fail They didn’t want Malta to do well. That’s why they scored Hypnotica low. They knew Malta finally had a good song. The juries didn’t want Malta to succeed periodt

Bradley Deb you know what keep it to yourself because honestly they were all good but firelight in my opinion was the best not just because they're my family but they stood out they had a different mixture of genres all right? Accept they won xx
