This whole mod is mainly based on Super Mario World. PS135 stands for Power State 135 which is a glitch in SMW called powerup incrementation. The main week takes place in the forest of illusions from Super Mario World, not to mention we already have a handful of mods based on Mario 1 and Mario 1 isn’t even that appealing anyway and Mario World is a masterclass of pixel art for the Mario series. It would also just be weird to not be Mario World in the pixel section as everything around it is based on Mario World.
