That’s fantastic!!! I miss having a wood stove also. Best heat ever!! Thanks for sharing!! Just sharing that I would take toilet paper cardboard rolls and fill with lint from the dryer. That’s how I created my own fire starters.

Love the new fireplace. I want to be able to heat with wood so bad, but at the time it's not possible. At the time I am using a propane space heater and 4 electric heaters. My son cuts and sells wood so I wouldn't have problem getting the wood

Oh, fireplace envy going on here right now. We only used wood heat for the first 43 years of our marriage. When we retired and left the dairy farm for eastern Washington state we couldn't find a newer home with wood burning fireplaces, just gas or electric. Its not the same. My old bones could use some wood heat. It's going to be beautiful! Enjoy and God bless.

Great video, we have a wood stove and absolutely love the heat from it. We have a propane furnace but don’t use it as it’s expensive and just doesn’t heat like wood.

Good morning Jacob and Alex. I grew up with an old Gatling wood burning stove. She had a cooktop surface. And we actually utilized it for cooking during the winter so it accomplished two tasks. That's a beautiful fireplace. are you all going to be gathering your rocks for your fireplace off your land. I always think that makes your fireplace a little more personal and unique. Yes Russell it is WAY more efficient. The last one I'd get maybe 2hrs of burn time this new one 8 to 10 hrs of burn time on the same amount of wood. Thank you for watching

Love wood burning fire places and I know you will enjoy this one. At least should the electricity go out you will be able to stay warm during the winter. Also I think you might be able to wrap something in foil and place it in to cook what ever. Enjoyed and thanks.

Nice fireplace! When you get the stone front on it will definitely be the center of attention! When we heated the house with wood we placed small corner shaped fans in the doorways to help push the warm air from room to room. They really helped to keep a more steady temperature from room to room and not have most of the heat trapped in just 1 or 2. Having a large box like that will really be nice overnight or for making a morning fire and still have coals to build the next when the sun goes down. Great job guys!
