Really enjoyed watching this battle report and think you have managed to nail the format for producing great easy to watch and follow videos, I also like the fact that the videos reflect the fun aspect of playing wargames and we are all victims of the dice gods :)

Nice BR. Condensed enough yet captures the key moments! Might I suggest maybe a bit more on the formations taken at the start just so we can get a good idea of what units are in the field at the start? Great work guys.

Excellent game. Great video and audio. great looking table and paint jobs. I think there were a few rules problems with the artillery hits but nothing major.

Doesn't artillery hit on skill and doesn't get the penalty from concealment? Although you do have to make a fire power check

Artillery hits just like you are shooting normally at enemy if you range in on the first of three tries. Concealed and gone to ground don't matter versus artillery barrage. It is +1 if you range in on the second try and +2 to hit if you range in on the third try. I didn't see a ranged in roll so I don't know what happened.

I just checked again and he said he doesn't need to range in which I assume means he had a ranged in marker down at the start of the game. But I think it is +1 to hit if your arty or spotter can't see the ranged in marker.

The only modifier you'll get when ranging in is if the template covers short or tall terrain. So you roll against your skill, possible with the modifier for terrain, and then, depending on which attempt you ranged in, know what to roll to hit (base to-hit + possible second or third attempt modifier). Meaning that in the worst case scenario, you're hitting on 6s.
