I really hope people watch plenty of videos so they know not to use hand break and throttle trying to launch or leave marks as it can blow the center diff. And moving the battery tray back helps even the weight and keeps it from being so nose heavy like the Typhon and lawn darting. I put a 14 tooth pinion to keep the nose up even on 4s. May go to the 15 later but having fun now the way it is. Thanks for the vid.

I cranked up the punch to 9. Its a different animal. Solves the air control and it rips alot harder

The Mojave/Fireteam chassis has a 2nd battery location option. Could putting it in the rearmost position help the balance? Less nose dive? I saw other reviewers having that issue too. Hurricane

Everyone says move the battery tray to the furthest rear position helps out quite a bit.🤷‍♂️🤪👍 I think some backflips would help it out with the air control.

If I get past the 500$ I have saved now, I’ll keep going and grab a X-Maxx The way it’s built, (easier to fix things when stuff wears or breaks with the modular design) It’s a cool basher (the Arrma) just something about those Maxx trucks haven’t had one since a EMaxx many moons ago 😉

Ive been out of the game for 25yrs. My 7yr old son wanted Santa to get a remote control car. So I said screw it. Bought 2 Slashes. A VXL for me and the brushed for him. Well, needless to say this hobby racks up bills. I gave him my motor, I got a castle in mine, pl shocks, and more. Then I said man, these are fun but I got tired of upgrading parts that broke for what he wants to do. I bought a Fire team for me and got him the Maxx. Both are crazy fun and he LOVES it. That Fire team is a beast. The Slashes will be used for the little cousins to play with when they come over. The one thing I dont get is he took a jump and the thing shut off. Ever since then the thing just shuts off at random. Oddly enough, if the top is off it'll run longer before shutting off. The shop said batteries. I used 2 different 3s batteries (4s is too fast and he needs to learn how to brake, etc control at his age). Both shut off. Is it the batteries, cant be, right? They worked fine in the slashes. What should I look for? I did spray them down with the hose but avoided the electronics. Any thoughts?

Cool truck I like the look of it However I was not prepared for the price tag of that body. Wow Horizon seems a little greedy asking $180 for just that body. I know it's detailed and what not but man that price, ouch

unfortunately anything new coming out is going to be about 20% more then it normally be A UDR costs about 900 and its 1/7 scale so still under traxxas

@@lowridr2 Yeah UDR is $799 right now plus tax inflation has reached every industry however $190 is crazy money for a body I think. Yeah it's got four figures in it but still $200 you can almost buy yourself a kit whether it be a crawler or a drifter or whatever. Everybody has different priorities though The best part about it is we have options

It seem a little spendy for what your getting in the rig! The rig seem to nose dive off every thing the center of gravity is off to much and if you start to try locking up the rear differential don't need the hand break! I'd just get a Mohave and build the thing to the Max and have alot more Fun!

A Roller of this will Not be 500$$ or less. When the OutKast 6S EXB RTR came out for 750$$ everyone CRIED about the price. They offer it in a Roller now for 699$$ so that's where this will be at. After at least 4 to 5 month initial release time. The price is High but EVERYTHING RC is going up. Just the times we are in!!

I beat the crap outta mine and still no breaks and running excellent, Kevin talbot really abused his and all he could do to it was slight chassis bend. Thicker diff fluid,move battery to optional location and thicker shock oil. Fireteam is a absolute beast and durable as hell!
