it doesn't work for me. and it says this error.. : : : the selection contains at least one clip that doesn't have control points at both the start and end of its region.the problematic clips have been deselected... :(

i've kind of figured it out: control points need to be created at the beginning AND the ends of the clips so you have to make them yourself. if there is nothing there or if the end of the clip is part of a slope into another control point then it won't budge. that's how i got it to work

Is it possible to merge an automation clip with it's related pattern so they are on one track?

You can "group" the automation clip with the track containing the pattern, that way they'll be linked. You can also drag the automation clip on top of the pattern itself, but you can't get the automation clip into the actual pattern if that's what you mean. In order to get automation inside the pattern itself you'll have to use events instead of automation clip. You can convert events into automation clips, but not vice versa, unfortunately.

How do you group them under the track ?

You can right-click on the track header in front of the automation and click "group with the above track". However, in the newest versions of FL Studio automation clips will tend to automatically get grouped when you automate something that's already in the playlist. :)

This is the easy part. After doing this, you can't delete any instances of the clip without them all being deleted. Mind boggling. I can't find any information about this.
