This is a great video! Good for home users which are a small scale. How can you block multiple mac addresses? For a school setting, I have a list of about 100 or so and that list will double next year. Is there a way to do a whole list?

This solution is great however websites like google, facebook, instgram redirects to https links on google chrome, and users are able to surf them. To overcome, we tested by grouping http and https services and then applying. Result, Outlook stopped as it uses SSL. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

my question is that before using a SonicWALL I was using Cyberoam 35ing firewall. in that, I was using mac based policy. if, when a user needs to get internet access I add the mac address of that machine then he can get the internet access, without adding the mac address, he/she is not able to connect or surf the internet, So, I need the same policy as Cyberoam 35ing in SonicWall TZ600. Is there anyway to allow a Mac address to bypass the content filter in sonicwall? I have dhcp on the network and it keeps changing the CEO's ip address so i would want to filter by mac address to allow.

that's good info...i want to know how can we bypass content filtering for a single user by username while content filtering is still enabled for all the other users... what i've done is checked in the "Freeware/Software Downloads" CFS policy and it is blocking all my users to access Microsoft update site....i need to allow only a single local user to by passing this policy...thanku

Okay. Is there a way to: 1. allow the MAC address to connect only to the Internet 2. not allow it to connect to devices on the LAN3. apply a CFS policy to the MAC address as well?

you need to bind the IP Address with the mac address of the machine. and put the same in the access rule that you have created

go to mobile networks or wifi, then go to advance setting, in this you will find the mac address of wifi or you want to add

This doesn't woirk at all. I have all of these mac addresses listed as blocked/deny and they are still connecting. I have it in MAC filtering and I have an ACL rule- Deny added the MAc address and mask, they still connect!!!!~
