I feel like that last part where it slows down and drags on for a while, not only does it give off a sense of desperation for the player, but also for whatever was fighting the player as well, as if trying to take the player down with them; as if saying "If I can't win, then we'll both lose."

A lot of the top 10 Extreme Demons are intimidating in their own way, this one feels different for some reason, it's almost terrifying to think about playing this, just imagine dying at 99% on this, at that point yoy would probably have a heart attack

@@mclean3032 Cold Sweat definitely gave me the same feeling. Cold Sweat felt very futuristic and focused. Firework feels much more out of control and insane. The melody the bass plays in the second drop is incredibly dissonant and features wide intervals between notes as well.

What annoys me about the people who trash on firework is that they criticize it for being ‘generic’ and ‘not worthy of being a top 1’ I’m very exited for this to be a top one gameplay wise. Not difficulty, just the actual gameplay. For a top 1 megacollab, it has EXTREMELY unique gameplay. A good example is the dual spider at around 30-40%. It’s cool to see a top 1 demon that isn’t entirely based on hard waves and straight fly.

Wow, this was a great video actually. I love how you described each part in detail and I just like how this video was made. It proves that you don't need to have a set structure for a video like this to be successful. I really think you should do more of these videos. The part that always scares me the most for firework actually isn't any of the waves, or cube sections but the ship near the end. I heard that part is one of the easier bits of the level, but you have to admit, it just looks painful to fly through. Edit: I just rewatched it and 36% with clicks is downright anxiety inducing. It might be the delay with recording, but the way the clicks are ever so slightly misaligned with the music just creates mad anxiety.

Im very glad that we made this feeling successfully Actually, this level has pretty big history, firstly it had very different idea and atmosphere, but we decided to make it like this When i were asked to decorate there (the first and last part is decorated by me), vernam said to make it feel like something that feels like death, that feels like it is impossible to be stronger than it or something like that. Thats really nice that someone got that atmosphere despite saying that this is just a b/w buffed void wave! thank you! :з

It's really exciting to see someone who understands the level like I did when I first time saw it and played it. The gameplay is not boring, it's one of the most intense and fun levels I've ever played, the sync, deco and the atmosphere is just phenomenal. I disagree with your review of the wave spam at 48%, it has a pattern that makes it a quite easy to master, even for a player who've beat only top 100-150 demons. 64-80% is one of the best gameplay parts imo, 84-100% is really fun too when you get use to the black orb timing. The ship at 79% or something is pretty awkward, but really fun when you master it fully.

The 48 wave is special not because it's actually a genuinely challenging part, because, yeah, for even a decent player it's actually not that bad and is actually pretty easy when compared to a majority of the level, it's just the fact that it gives a sense of just how insane this level is to players who can't even begin to grasp it's difficulty. Like Potato said, it's a very straight forward part, most newer players can't easily comprehend the difficulty of the timings in the level because new players are probably not well-versed on how hard frame perfect or at the very least nigh-frame perfect timings are, but the 4x wave on the other hand, it's something that almost anyone who has played the wave gamemode at 4x speed can easily grasp and understand just how ridiculous it is, and that then allows even inexperienced players to easily understand just how unfathomably difficult this level truly is.

@@DashY_GD Yeah, and people who have beaten insane demons or harder can pretty easily tell how hard the timings are. But try and look at the level through the eyes of a player who hasn't beat many demons, like say maybe their hardest is like a medium demon if even or something, you probably can't even fathom the difficulty of each click and the most you can tell is just simply that they look really hard, but you wouldn't even be able to grasp just how brutal they truly are. The wave on the other hand, as I said, is straight forward enough that even people who have just played the wave gamemode at 4x speed some can at least have an idea on just how hard it is, which then puts the rest of the level in a whole new light.

I'm coming back into the game after a few years, after having first touched the game in 2015 and coming back every so often. I know slaughterhouse happened, but that theme has more of just compounding torture, just pain, pain, pain, until you do it. Firework just feels more alive. And sure Tartarus is still a thing but it doesn't seem to have "theme". A parallel I want to draw with this "being alive" is Yatagarasu, which obviously had a mascot like firework. While much differently paced, it still has distinct sections that toy with player and intimidate the viewer. That level had so much potential.

One of my biggest problems with the level lies in its name. When you think of fireworks, you think of bright flashes and explosions of color, so for the name “Firework” to be given to a level with a mostly grey palette and almost no color is completely asinine. A name that actually fits with the theme and decoration (I came up with “Smoke and Ash” off the top of my head) would’ve made much more sense here

Interesting video, though I disagree with a lot of it. When I first watched a video of this level, I was incredulous about it being a top 1 level because it's dark and fast enough that you can't see exactly what you have to do for a lot of timings (I realized how hard it was when I watched a video of the layout). The wave at 8% actually decreased the intimidation factor by a lot, because I just barely saw that a spike on the top part of a wave space near the end was not a full-sized spike. The first part that was really intimidating for me was 40%, not just because of the fast clicks, but because it was then that I realized that those clicks were all probably timed. The other parts of the level that cemented the intimidation factor for me were the wave spam, of course, and the 65% dash orb timings. Overall, I think the intimidation factor is hampered by not seeing exactly what you have to do. The timings are deemphasized in favor of the flow of the music sync, except in 60% and beyond. It's not blazingly, relentlessly fast like wasureta or claustrophobic like cognition, and it doesn't make my hand ache in sympathy like cold sweat. It looks fun, but the presentation could have been much better in my opinion.

I prefer how hard is series. In this period they are 3 interesting levels to analyse: A top 10 Extreme demon: SARY NEVER CLEAR (really hard and maybe Is underrated) A top 11 demon that before was top 7: COLD SWEAT (its difficult to see if It Is harder, i don't know sincerly) It Is under SARY and over Cognition ( i don't understand why it has become in 12th position, no idea). A top 6 demon that for me It Is top 20 (as nswish said): THE RUPTURE that in this moment is over Renevant and under Crimson Planet. Another topic concerned with Extreme demons that i want to explain Is an underrated level called Ragnarok. Pointercrate have a big problem because when Ragnarok Is top 13 It slows to top 15 and when they are new top 10 or top 15 levels it comes back to 13 position (ALWAYS). For this reason i would like to see an analysis of how hard Is Ragnarok effectively (for me Is top 7/8 but i have curiosity of your opinion).
